Lin Yang knelt on the ground, lost and despondent. 0

“Zhou Qin, would you rather die than stay by my side?” 0

“Zhou Qin, you have such a cruel heart.” 0

He murmured to himself, his eyes filled with an unfathomable despair. 0

Slowly, he rose to his feet and approached those who were guarding me, taking them down one by one. 0

Then, armed with a whip, he went to find Xiang Wei. 0

“Yang Ge, what are you doing here?” 0

Xiang Wei was pleasantly surprised to see him. She rushed into his arms, wanting to act cute as usual. 0

In the next moment, Lin Yang's whip struck her body. 0

“Ah!” 0

Xiang Wei screamed in horror. 0

She looked down in disbelief at the whip that was being swung at her. 0

“Yang Ge…” 0

She cried out Lin Yang's name in despair. 0

Lin Yang's expression was cold as he continued to lash out with the whip. 0

“Ah!” 0

Xiang Wei let out another wretched scream. 0

She trembled all over from the pain. 0

Lin Yang remained expressionless, striking her body again and again with the whip. 0

“Yang Ge…” 0

Xiang Wei shook uncontrollably, blood flowing freely from her wounds. 0

She couldn't understand why Lin Yang, who had always been so kind to her, would suddenly turn so cruel. 0

“Yang Ge…” 0

Her voice trembled, laced with sobs. 0

"Why...?" 0
Her voice was hoarse. "Why are you doing this to me...?" 0
Lin Yang remained silent, relentlessly swinging the whip. 0
With each strike, blood splattered. 0
Xiang Wei's screams gradually weakened until they completely faded away. 0
She could never have imagined that she would die in such a manner. 0
She died at Lin Yang's hands. 0
After killing Xiang Wei, Lin Yang continued to mechanically wield the whip. 0
It wasn't until he heard a sob behind him that he stopped. 0
He turned around numbly and saw Lin Yi, her face pale with terror. 0
"Daddy, Daddy..." 0
Lin Yi's voice trembled. 0
Lin Yang slowly lowered the whip, staring at his blood-soaked hands, suddenly feeling nauseous. 0
He bent over and vomited blood. 0
Then, he collapsed straight to the ground. 0
Before losing consciousness, he vaguely saw the villa reduced to ashes, appearing particularly desolate in the night. 0
The villa was burned down; his Zhou Qin was gone. 0
The chaos inside the villa had nothing to do with him anymore. 0
I was on the run with Ping Ping. 0
We left the bustling city and arrived in a small town. 0
We opened a tea house there. 0
The business at the tea house improved steadily, and Ping Ping gradually became capable of handling things on her own. 0
I became a beautiful, wealthy, and idle single mother. 0
In Ping Ping's words, I was becoming increasingly lazy. 0
One day, as I stepped out of the restaurant, I unexpectedly bumped into two people. 0

They looked disheveled and lost, like homeless people. At first, I didn’t recognize them. It wasn’t until one of them spotted me and suddenly lunged forward, grabbing my sleeve and crying out my name, that I incredulously realized they were Lin Yang and Lin Yi. 0

I returned to the restaurant and told Ping Ping about my encounter with Lin Yang and Lin Yi. She informed me that a few years ago, the commercial landscape of the big city had changed dramatically. Lin Yang had gone mad due to my faked death, becoming addicted to alcohol and gambling, neglecting company affairs. He was left with two passions: drinking and gambling. 0

Seeing Lin Yang’s decline, the shareholders wanted to groom Lin Yi to take over the company, only to find that Lin Yi’s mental faculties had deteriorated. Eventually, both Lin Yang and Lin Yi were ousted from the company and ended up on the streets, where fate led them to cross paths with me. 0

“Mom, are you feeling soft-hearted and thinking of taking them in?” Ping Ping asked me. I shook my head. “I’m trying to figure out how to keep them from bothering me.” 0

“Simple,” Ping Ping said, patting her chest. “Leave this to me; you should go enjoy the concert.” 0

“What concert?” 0

“The musician you love the most is on tour here.” 0

“Really?” I exclaimed with delight. 0

“Of course it’s true! Hurry up; if you don’t go now, it’ll be too late.” 0

“Alright, then I’ll leave this to you. Make sure it’s handled well.” 0

“Don’t worry, Mom.” 0

I arrived at the concert venue, feeling incredibly excited. This was my favorite musician; I could sing along to every song he performed. Sitting in the audience, I softly hummed along with the music. When the song ended, I clapped enthusiastically. 0

After the concert, I returned home. 0

Ping Ping was lying on the sofa, reading a book. Upon seeing me, he smiled and asked, "So, did you have fun?" 0

"Absolutely!" 0

I rushed over and hugged him tightly, giving him a big kiss. 0

"Baby, you were amazing!" 0

"Of course." 0

Ping Ping proudly lifted his chin. 0

"By the way, what about those two people?" 0

"I took them to the shelter," Ping Ping said. "I asked, and they will get a job with three meals a day. If they perform well, they might even earn a salary." 0

"That's great." 0

I felt relieved. 0

"Mom, I've helped you solve such a big problem. How do you plan to reward me?" 0

Ping Ping blinked at me. 0

"Hmm... how about a kiss as a reward?" 0

"No way, that's too dismissive." 0

"What do you want then?" 0

"I want you..." 0

Ping Ping leaned in close to my ear and whispered a few words. 0

"Huh?" 0

I was taken aback. "Is that really okay?" 0

"Why not?" 0

"Alright then." 0

"Deal!" 0
