I stood to the side, listening to their conversation, unable to suppress a laugh. Ms . Lin turned to look at me and asked, "What are you laughing at?" 0

I shook my head, "Nothing, nothing. You must have misheard." 0

Yang Fan was still struggling, his bound body rubbing against the bed sheets. Ms . Lin stepped forward and untied the ropes around Yang Fan. 0

Once he felt the ropes loosen, he became reckless. "You think you can tie me up? Just wait and see!" 0

He attempted to run out but collapsed before he could reach the door, having been drugged. 0

Jiang Li looked up defiantly and said, "Still thinking of running? Let me tell you, you're mine now. You won't be going anywhere." 0

Yang Fan was completely stunned, sitting on the ground motionless. 0

After a long argument between Ms . Lin and Jiang Li, Ms . Lin finally relented, agreeing that Jiang Li had a point. Before long, everyone dispersed. 0

I walked out of Jiang Li's house and ran into Chen Yong. I ignored him and prepared to leave. 0

Chen Yong grabbed my arm and said, "Do you know that what you're doing is illegal?" 0

"Illegal? Yang Fan hasn't faced justice yet; why can't I take my revenge?" 0

Chen Yong was left speechless, standing there in shock. 0

"I advise you to mind your own business; otherwise, I'll take care of you too." 0

Chen Yong looked at me with disbelief. Ever since Jiang Li had detained Yang Fan, the village had been peaceful for a while. Yang Fan was locked up in the chicken coop, living among the chickens. 0

I wandered around the chicken coop every day, and whenever Yang Fan saw me, he looked like he wanted to rush out and kill me. Unfortunately, he couldn't get out. 0

Jiang Li went to "take care" of him every day, and it often resulted in a beating. Yang Fan wailed in despair within the chicken coop, which brought me a sense of joy. 0

One day, I was just about to stroll near Jiang Li's chicken coop when Ms . Lin called out to me. 0

"Xu Kun, come here for a moment." 0

I turned around and walked over to Ms . Lin with a smile. 0

"What’s up?" 0

Ms . Lin stared at me intently, her eyes filled with disdain. 0

"Xu Kun, you've been here for two months now. Why hasn’t Lin Yu gotten pregnant yet? Tell me, is there something wrong with you?" 0

Lin Yu beside her also touched her head and looked at me seriously. 0

"Yeah, darling, you wouldn’t happen to have any issues, would you?" 0

I chuckled lightly. "How could that be? Getting pregnant isn’t something that can just happen on command, but it will definitely happen." 0

Ms . Lin slammed her hand on the table and stood up abruptly. 0

"I warn you, Xu Kun, if Lin Yu isn’t pregnant within a month, your fate will be the same as Wang Qiang's." 0

I nodded with a smile. "Alright, I understand." 0

Ms . Lin snorted coldly and turned to leave. I watched her retreating figure and sneered softly. 0

That’s exactly what I was waiting for. 0

Half a month passed in the blink of an eye, yet there was still no progress. Ms . Lin and Lin Yu were starting to get anxious. Ms . Lin's attitude towards me grew increasingly hostile; she locked me in the house every day, forced medication on me, and insisted that I make a baby with Lin Yu. 0

Today, Ms . Lin finally couldn’t hold back any longer; she picked up a feather duster and swung it at me, who was tied up nearby. 0

"You useless piece of trash, Lin Yu still isn't pregnant." 0
I turned my head to avoid Ms . Lin's attack. 0
"Having a baby is a two-person matter. Even if you beat me to death, it won't help. We need to go to the hospital together to find out what the problem is." 0
As the days passed, Ms . Lin realized that buying another man would cost a lot of money, so she had no choice but to drag Lin Yu and me to see the village's Barefoot Doctor. 0
