Wu Rong turned around and shot Hu Ze a cold glare before taking the driver's seat and driving away with Rao Jie. Hu Ze had no choice but to return in frustration.
Rao Jian noticed Hu Ze's bad mood and quickly invited him to his room to play video games. However, Hu Ze was too preoccupied to pay attention, his mind filled with the image of Rao Jie being pinned down and kissed. The dreamy expression on her face, her sparkling eyes, and her rosy lips made him feel parched. He had imagined what it would be like when Rao Jie was moved, but reality was even more captivating than he had envisioned. He couldn't help but wish he were that man who could pin Rao Jie down and have his way with her right there in the open.
"Hu Shao, did my sister upset you?" Rao Jian asked ingratiatingly.
Hu Ze snorted coldly, losing the politeness he usually displayed in front of his parents, and became arrogant towards Rao Jian. "I saw your sister's boyfriend. Their relationship seems pretty good. No one has ever played me like this before. You were so adamant that she had feelings for me, but it turns out I was just deceived. I can't see any affection from your sister towards me, Rao Jian. Don't say I'm being unreasonable; you were the one who played me first. Forget about that position; just return the money!"
Rao Jian immediately panicked. "Hu Shao, please don't be angry! It's my sister who doesn't appreciate you. She came from a rural town and doesn't understand things well. How could she know your worth? She must have been deceived by Pretty Boy."
Hu Ze thought about the handsome man he had just seen; indeed, he was strikingly good-looking. Young girls often fell for appearances, but once they entered society, they would understand what kind of man they truly needed.
"I know Hu Shao has genuine feelings for my sister; otherwise, you wouldn't keep coming to our house to check on her. I understand completely. As long as you have your heart set on it, my sister will definitely be yours, and we can become in-laws."
Hu Ze smiled ambiguously and replied, "Oh? You have a way? I see no hope at all."
Rao Jian quickly reassured him, "Don't worry! I have a plan—absolutely! As long as Hu Shao follows my advice, you can definitely win my sister over."
As he spoke, Rao Jian leaned closer to Hu Ze's ear to whisper his scheme.
Hu Ze already knew that someone like Rao Jian would resort to such tactics.
"But if we get caught, she might turn against me and even report me. That would be disastrous," Hu Ze said.
"Don't worry! You’ll be drunk and unconscious! Besides, if she really didn’t want it, why wouldn’t she call for help? There are people at home, and given my parents' nature, they would never let this get out. They actually like having you as a son-in-law! Just record a video beforehand; then show it to her boyfriend and see if he still wants her after that. Once the rice is cooked, there’s no turning back on marriage."
Rao Jian wore a satisfied smile as he spoke.
Hu Ze was indeed a scoundrel but had never thought of such a despicable plan himself; after all, people usually approached him or he could win them over with money. He had never needed to resort to such underhanded methods. However, since it was Rao Jian's idea and he would merely be 'drunk,' it wasn't really his fault.
Thinking about Rao Jie's earlier appearance made him lose control of his impulses; tonight he wanted nothing more than to claim that ungrateful woman for himself.
