"One, two, three."
"Why is one missing?"
Gabriel looked up and realized that the Bird Demon had already flown far away.
From the very beginning of the battle, the Bird Demon had been plotting to escape, secretly calculating its getaway.
"I was born to fly; why should I fight alongside you?" it muttered. "You can hold him off while I find another place to dominate!"
"Is that so? Do you really think you can get away?" A cold voice suddenly echoed in the Bird Demon's ear.
It turned in terror, only to find Gabriel had appeared beside it like a ghost.
"How did you get here so fast?" The Bird Demon's voice trembled with fear.
In its mind, even if its three companions couldn't defeat Gabriel, they should at least be able to hold him off for a while. How could it have flown only a short distance before being caught up?
"You should ask them," Gabriel replied with a chilling smile, his eyes filled with murderous intent, and an overwhelming aura radiated from him, freezing the air around them.
In the next moment, his claws swung fiercely toward the Bird Demon.
"Bang."
The body of the Bird Demon crashed heavily to the ground.
At this point, in a certain area of the 361st layer of the Abyssal Origin River, only Gabriel remained among the countless demons that had been born here.
After absorbing the souls of the demons in this place into the system, Gabriel had accumulated a significant amount of evolution points.
Clenching his fists, Gabriel slammed one down onto the ground, instantly creating a large crater.
"I am so strong now!"
He couldn't help but revel in this newfound power.
But in an instant, an overwhelming force surged toward him, like an invisible net that ensnared Gabriel tightly.
He struggled desperately, twisting his body and exerting all his strength with his limbs, but this force seemed to stem from the very rules of the universe, utterly unresistable.
In the blink of an eye, light flickered, and the scene before Gabriel abruptly changed, transporting him to a completely unfamiliar place.
Here, mist swirled around him, and the air was thick with a decaying odor. The jagged rocks surrounding him were starkly different from the previous demon origin site.
"What is happening?" Gabriel warily scanned his surroundings, filled with confusion and unease.
Various speculations raced through his mind. "Could my previous rampage have attracted the attention of some great demon?"
But soon he dismissed that thought. "Impossible! I was just born less than a day ago; my strength is nowhere near enough to alarm a great demon."
After pondering for a moment, Gabriel finally realized that the mastermind behind all this was none other than Abyssal Will.
It turned out that Gabriel had successfully evolved into a Lesser Demon at the origin of the demons, far surpassing his peers in strength.
Although Abyssal Will was indifferent to the life and death of demons, if situations like Gabriel's occurred frequently, it would lead to a significant gap in the strength of demons. The quantity and quality of newly born demons would be greatly affected, and if this continued, the Abyss might no longer give birth to new demons.
For this reason, Abyssal Will enforced the expulsion of all demons who reached the strength of a Lesser Demon from the origin point, in order to maintain the balance of demon births.
Of course, there were also those whose strength had not yet reached the required level; when their time came, they too would be expelled by Abyssal Will.
"Phew, that’s a relief."
Gabriel quickly checked his status, disregarding the strangeness of his new environment.
After a thorough examination, he found that aside from the energy points spent on evolving into a Lesser Demon, he still had a considerable amount of energy stored up for further evolution.

【Upgrade Points: 10】
Looking at the 10 upgrade points, Gabriel pondered silently, knowing he must save them for emergencies.
After handling this, he stood up to survey his surroundings. He was surrounded by numerous demons, most of whom were at a level comparable to the Tiger Demon he had encountered earlier, but he was the only one at the level of a Lesser Demon.
This meant that among the millions, even billions of demons, there was only one standout like him.
He glanced around and realized he was in what appeared to be a cave, where many ferocious beasts seemed to lurk, an ominous aura enveloping the space.
The demons exchanged glances, all sensing that they were not to be trifled with. A reckless conflict would only lead to mutual destruction, so they all planned to leave quietly.
"Everyone, come over and stand in line!" A domineering voice suddenly rang out.
The demons turned their heads towards the sound and saw a demon with two massive horns looking down at them from a height.
Mid-tier Demon Great Horned Demon!
A Mid-tier Demon was already a mainstay of the abyssal demons, capable of single-handedly facing thousands of human soldiers from a conventional small world.
Damn it, how could such a powerful demon appear here?
Gabriel cursed inwardly.
He silently prayed in his heart, hoping that the Great Horned Demon would lack speed, allowing him to escape this calamity.
Gabriel inwardly lamented; he would rather entrust his life to the opposing angel than trust these fickle demons. After all, in this abyss, morality meant nothing to demons.
"I must find an opportunity to escape!" he calculated silently, while maintaining a facade of obedience, his eyes discreetly scanning the surroundings for an escape route.
"You dare not listen to me!" A sudden roar shattered the eerie calm of the cave.
Gabriel turned toward the sound and saw a lithe Flying Demon desperately fleeing toward the cave's exit, already a hundred meters away.
Upon seeing this, the Great Horned Demon’s eyes flashed with ruthlessness as it raised its hand and swept it forward. In an instant, an invisible and powerful force sliced through the air like a blade, precisely striking the Flying Demon.
Without warning, the wings of the Flying Demon were severed, and it let out a piercing scream, crashing against the cold stone wall like a kite with its string cut.
Immediately after, a group of creatures lurking in the darkness—beings that could hardly be called demons—rushed forward like sharks sensing blood.
They clawed and bit, quickly overwhelming the Flying Demon. A chilling sound of gnawing filled the air, and within moments, the Flying Demon was reduced to nothing but bones, leaving no trace of blood behind.
"Not even a Low-level Demon, yet you thought you could escape from me. What a delusion," the Great Horned Demon scoffed coldly, its icy gaze sweeping over every demon present as if warning them not to act rashly.
"Listen well, you lot."
The Great Horned Demon raised its voice, echoing throughout the cave. "I am here on the orders of Lord Azazel of Layer 361 of the Abyss to gather you all into his army. We are to invade another world."
The invasion of another world was exactly as it sounded.
It was a demon invasion of another world.
However, it was usually high-ranking demons that invaded alone, as no demon wanted to share the fragrant human souls with others.
Yet, in some worlds where resistance was particularly fierce, a single demon would find it insufficient to conquer alone and would issue a Demon Contract, summoning other demons to assist in the invasion.
To enter another world through the Demon Contract, one generally needed to obey the commands of the Higher Demon to some extent and also pay a portion of the souls they acquired.
It sounded unlikely that demons would engage in such activities.
But in reality, many demons yearned for this opportunity.
Once a large force was openly invading another world, the main consciousness of that world would not pay too much attention to individual demons. The main forces of the world would be drawn to the Higher Demon. The Low-level Demons only needed to focus on destruction and slaughter.
This was precisely what demons excelled at.
Moreover, not only could they obtain a vast number of human souls, but they might also attract the gaze of the Abyssal Will, gaining extraordinary powers.
Thus, most demons were willing when faced with such opportunities.
