Huang Xiang gazed into her precious son's eyes, her expression shifting slightly as if something fleeting crossed her mind. She opened her mouth, hesitating, but faced with her son's somewhat fierce demeanor, she ultimately glanced at the door. There was no other sound from inside; she recalled that Rao Jie had just returned to her room not long ago. If something were amiss, surely she would have called out.
After a long moment of hesitation, Huang Xiang said nothing and turned to return to her own room, though her steps were somewhat labored.
Inside the room, Rao Jie was still somewhat aware, and she saw what was happening. She was taken aback by the situation before her. She opened her mouth as if to call out Hu Ze's name, but no sound came out. Her eyes, though filled with fear, glistened with a soft tenderness.
This extreme combination filled Hu Ze with delight. He feigned a sleepy expression and said, “Did I drink too much? How come it seems like I’m seeing Rao Jie? Hahaha.”
Rao Jie was struggling internally to the utmost degree. Looking at Hu Ze kneeling above her, she felt an ominous premonition. She was just an ordinary girl; how could she have experienced such things? But she had seen enough on television.
She sensed that she must have been drugged, and now Hu Ze appeared in her room. What would happen next? Rao Jie had already imagined the worst. Tears streamed down her face involuntarily; she wanted to struggle but found herself utterly powerless, unable even to scream.
Her closest family members were so near yet completely unaware and unable to protect her.
Hu Ze leisurely caressed Rao Jie’s face, ignoring her tears, and laughed, “Am I dreaming? It seems you really like me! Otherwise, why are you so still around me? Don’t worry; I won’t bully you. But soon enough, you’ll be the one climbing onto me. Hahaha, Rao Jie, weren’t you supposed to be so aloof? Didn’t you look down on me? Tomorrow, you won’t have a choice but to marry me.”
Having said this with satisfaction, Hu Ze was about to remove Rao Jie’s clothing when he suddenly remembered Rao Jian’s warning.
Right! The recording! He planned to show it to her boyfriend later—proof of how she had actively sought him out. With the recording as evidence, he wouldn’t need to argue about anything.
However, he didn’t want anything too explicit; he preferred it to be subtle so it wouldn’t seem overly deliberate. After thinking this through, Hu Ze leisurely adjusted his phone and placed it aside, intending to capture all evidence on tape.
After all, he could edit it later; recording directly didn’t matter much. It would be a hassle if he waited until halfway through to start recording—he didn’t want that to interfere with his plans.
Once he set up the phone properly, Hu Ze tossed the blanket completely off the bed so it wouldn’t get in the way.
At that moment, although Rao Jie was struggling internally, her body was responding as if yearning for something. Yet, the remaining rationality reminded her that she must not give in; otherwise, she would regret it for the rest of her life.
With strangers in her home, Rao Jie dared not wear just her pajamas. Instead, she dressed carefully in both her undergarments and outerwear, ensuring that she could step outside at any moment if needed. This gave her a sense of security.
Hu Ze, upon seeing this, was not angry; rather, he felt pleased. The process of slowly unwrapping the gift was enjoyable for him, relishing how Rao Jie’s initial terror and anger gradually transformed into a dazed expression under his touch.
Hu Ze savored this experience, and with the night still young, he was in no rush. Gradually, he peeled back Rao Jie’s shirt, revealing the pink sports tank top underneath, which sent a thrill through him.
