Then he turned back to me and asked, "Does your wound still hurt?"

Behind me, I could hear Xiao Wang's voice breaking down.
"Let's go, I'll take you home."
He patted my shoulder, signaling me to follow him.
Wang didn't stop us this time; he was frantically on the phone, shouting, "Mom! Mom! They—!"
Gu Yu helped me fasten my seatbelt and handed me a bottle of drink.
"Is this the kind of person your family introduces you to?"
