Lin Yue often called her, sharing interesting stories from school, talking about the quirky classmates she encountered and the activities she participated in. During holidays, she frequently came to visit Sang Yu, who felt fortunate to have Lin Yue as a friend. 0

Over the course of a year, Sang Yu's situation improved significantly; she no longer needed medication. The following year, she went to university in another city. 0

Throughout her four years in college, Sang Yu changed a lot—she became more confident, cheerful, and laughed more often. As she had told Lin Yue before, although she hadn’t completely let go of that person from her past, she had learned to forgive herself. Now, she was living well—truly well. 0

Even though others still perceived her as quiet and reserved, everyone adored this beautiful girl who loved to learn. Sang Yu's class monitor pursued her for three years, but only admitted defeat at graduation. She felt sorry; the class monitor was a great person, but it seemed she had lost the ability to love. 0

"Sang Yu, I hope you find someone you truly love in the future," were the last words he said when they parted ways. 0

"You too, class monitor. I wish you happiness!" Sang Yu offered her most sincere blessing. She no longer held onto hope; being alone wasn’t so bad after all. The future was long—who could tell what it would bring? Perhaps one day, she would indeed find someone who loved her as much as she loved them. 0

"Yue Yue, hurry up! I'm about to be driven crazy by my best friend!" Sang Yu glanced at her phone and realized they were already late; they hadn't even entered the train station yet. 0

"They're here! They're here! Don’t panic! We still have ten minutes!" Lin Yue reassured Sang Xiaoyu, whose frustration was palpable. Although Sang Xiaoyu could be quite gentle, when angered, she was rather intimidating; it was best not to stoke those flames. 0

"Sang Sang! We're going to be late! Let’s hurry!" Lin Yue said sweetly, knowing she was the cause of their delay. If only she hadn’t binge-watched that drama yesterday—what a disaster! 0

(Sang Yu: "One more chance—are you still watching dramas?" Lin Yue: "Absolutely!") 0

"Phew! We finally made it! See? Our timing was spot on!" Lin Yue gasped as she collapsed into a seat. 0

"Yeah, you really know how to time things perfectly. If we had been even a second later, we would have missed the train! You didn’t waste a single moment!" Sang Yu replied through gritted teeth. She recalled how they had sprinted through the crowded train station with their luggage and how she had tripped and fallen in front of so many people—it was utterly embarrassing! 0

"Ha ha ha! Sang Sang, are your knees okay?" Lin Yue teased as she playfully tried to lift Sang Yu's skirt. 0

"Thanks to you, I'm perfectly fine!" 0

"I swear!" Lin Yue raised her hand and extended three fingers. "From now on, I will never binge-watch dramas until dawn again and drag you down with me! If I do..." 0

"What if?" Sang Yu crossed her arms and looked at Lin Yue with amusement. 0

"Well, if you do it again, your son won't have a rear end! From now on, she's definitely going to be my daughter!" 0

"Stop! You can ruin yourself, but don't drag my godson into this. It's bad enough that he has a mother like you." 0

Not long after the train departed, Lin Yue fell asleep. Sang Yu looked at her friend, who was sleeping soundly, and shook her head with a hint of affection. Noticing that the train's air conditioning was a bit too strong, she took a light jacket from her backpack and draped it over Lin Yue. Then, she carefully adjusted her friend's head, which had been swaying to the side, so that it rested on her shoulder. 0

Sang Yu glanced around; everyone else was engrossed in their phones. She pulled out her own headphones and began watching videos. 0
