Lin Yue quickly grabbed her friend, determined to pull her away. She absolutely could not let anyone take advantage of her friend.
"Hey? Yue Yue, why are there two of you?" Sang Yu swayed unsteadily, barely able to stand.
"You’re dancing too? Let’s dance together!"
"Hey, don’t go! Let’s dance for a bit!" A man blocked their path, rubbing his wrist. Damn, this girl had some strength.
Sang Yu was not pleased either; she hadn’t danced enough yet. "Yue, why are you pulling me? I’m not done dancing!"
"Come on, handsome! Let’s keep dancing!" Sang Yu turned back to the guy she had been dancing with, eager to continue.
As the two began to dance closely, Lin Yue felt like she could die from frustration. Why had she insisted on bringing Sang Yu to the bar in the first place?
It was all her fault for letting Sang Yu drink. She knew her friend couldn’t handle it and hadn’t kept an eye on her.
Whether Sang Yu wanted to kill her was uncertain, but Lu Jing definitely wanted to kill Lin Yue. He was sure that it was Lin Yue who had brought Sang Yu here; otherwise, she wouldn’t have been so bold.
Watching the couple dancing intimately in the crowd, Lu Jing felt a fire ignite within him.

He tilted his head back and downed the remaining drink in his glass before standing up and striding toward the woman who was enthusiastically dancing with another man.
"Hey! Lao Lu? Where are you going?" one of his friends called out as he noticed Lu Jing getting up.
Lu Jing seemed not to hear his friend's voice and didn’t look back.
"What’s he doing?" Han Zongqing turned to ask the others.
"No idea," they replied, equally curious. Lu Jing looked like someone not to be trifled with; hadn’t he just been drinking happily?
The group watched in confusion as Lu Jing approached the beautiful woman. He grabbed her wrist roughly and pulled her out of the dance floor.
"Hey! Who do you think you are?" The two men accompanying the woman protested loudly. "Who is this guy? Does he even know the rules? We saw her first!"
Lu Jing stopped and silently glared at the two men, his gaze sharp as a knife directed at one of them. The man was taken aback by Lu Jing's fierce demeanor and stammered, unable to speak further.
In this world, if you wanted to survive among tough crowds, you had to be perceptive; knowing when to back down was essential for longevity.
This man looked formidable; they should probably keep their distance.
"Lu Jing?!" Lin Yue exclaimed in shock. What was he doing?
"Hey! Where are you taking our Sang Sang?" Lin Yue demanded. What did this jerk want with her friend? Sang Yu had nothing to do with him now.
"Lu Jing! Stop right there!"
Lin Yue chased after the two ahead, unable to suppress her frustration. Why was this man walking so fast? Yet, Lu Jing seemed completely oblivious to it all.
An Yu and the others watched in shock at the scene unfolding before them. What was going on? Who was the woman that Lu Jing was holding onto? They had never seen her before.
Turning to the group, Lin Yue wanted to ask if anyone knew what was happening, but all she saw were confused expressions on their faces. Great! Not a single person seemed to understand the situation.
