Sang Yu rushed out of the building, glancing back after running a short distance. When she saw that no one was following her, she let out a sigh of relief and stopped to catch her breath before continuing on her way. Fortunately, her coat had a hood, which she pulled over her head for a bit of security. Even without looking in a mirror, Sang Yu knew that she looked utterly presentable after a night of drunkenness; her hair was likely a mess and her makeup smeared. 0

She felt incredibly grateful that she had worn a long hooded coat last night, which concealed her disheveled appearance. It wasn't until she settled into the taxi that she truly relaxed; this morning had been too overwhelming for her to handle. 0

There were so many questions she wanted to ask Lin Yue. She took out her phone to call Lin Yue, only to discover that there were over thirty missed calls from her. How could she have not heard any of them? Sang Yu realized that her phone had been on silent mode, likely set by Lu Jingzhi. 0

The phone rang only twice before Lin Yue picked up. "Sang Xiaoyu, are you alive?" 0

"How could I be with Lu Jingzhi?" 0

After hearing each other's questions, there was a moment of silence. 0

"Sang Sang, where are you now?" Lin Yue couldn't help but ask. 0

"I'm in the taxi! It feels like I'm gritting my teeth in frustration." 0

Lin Yue felt a bit guilty since it was her idea to drag Sang Yu out last night. However, she hadn't expected to run into that dog of a man, Lu Jingzhi. If anyone were to tell her that Lu Jingzhi didn't like Sang Yu, she would definitely tear that person apart. 0

"My phone is about to die; I'll call you when I get home." The battery icon showed it was running low. 0

"I'll come find you," Lin Yue hurriedly said. 0

After hanging up, Sang Yu leaned back against the seat, finally allowing herself to relax. The events of the morning had been too intense; she still felt like she was struggling to catch up. 0

Due to the effects of last night's drinking, her head throbbed faintly. Sang Yu closed her eyes and slowly rubbed her temples with her right hand to ease the discomfort. 0

Knock, knock, knock. 0

Just as Sang Yu finished showering, she heard someone knocking at the door. She guessed it must be Lin Yue arriving. 0

"Sang Sang, how are you?" Lin Yue asked eagerly as soon as she stepped inside. 0

"Ha! Aside from a bit of a headache, I'm fine," Sang Yu replied with a yawn as she turned toward the sofa. 0

Lin Yue looked at her friend, who appeared exhausted, and her heart sank. Oh heavens, could it be that they had fought so fiercely last night that neither of them had slept? If that were the case, she would have a lot to answer for. 0

Sang Yu chuckled, "Hehe! Hehe! Guess what?!" 0
