Life is not solely about love; it encompasses family ties and friendships as well. With a father, family, and friends who care for her, she has so many people who love her. Although there are regrets, love seems less significant now.
Life is long, and love is just one part of it. We cannot let unrequited love ruin our lives. It's time to let go of ourselves and embrace a new life; this is what she should do now.

Reflecting on today’s incident, after a nap, Sang Yu seems to have come to terms with things. She no longer dwells on who kissed whom; after all, they won’t intersect in the future. No, it’s utterly meaningless. A kiss doesn’t equate to sleeping together. Besides, even if they did sleep together, so what? They are adults; there’s no need to take it too seriously.
So, she decided to just carry on with her life. The Earth continues to spin regardless of anyone's presence, and people can live without each other.
Although her nap wasn’t particularly restful, it did leave her feeling much better physically, returning her to a normal state. It was the weekend, and her fridge was empty. Sang Yu planned to go grocery shopping to stock up on ingredients, snacks, and drinks for the upcoming week.
Sang Yu is somewhat lazy and a bit of a homebody; she rarely goes out unless necessary. Typically, she only goes grocery shopping once a week on Saturdays or weekends to buy what she needs for the week ahead. After work, she usually stays home since she has only two friends. If she doesn’t have plans with them, she prefers to stay in.
Occasionally on weekends, she visits her father or checks in on her younger sister, Sang Xia, who got into college this year and seldom comes home—only during winter and summer breaks. Sometimes she goes shopping with Lin Yue or enjoys a meal out; other times, she simply stays at home. Sang Yu is quite satisfied with this kind of life; it’s the reality for most people, isn’t it?
There’s a larger supermarket not far from the community where Sang Yu lives. She usually passes by it; however, today that short walk left her sweating due to the heavy bags filled with groceries.
Once home, she organized everything: items for the fridge went into the fridge while snacks were placed in the designated snack cabinet. As a girl, it's rare not to enjoy snacks—watching TV while munching on them is one of Sang Yu's favorite pastimes.
Seeing the fridge stuffed full gives Sang Yu a sense of satisfaction.
What is the purpose of earning money? Isn’t it just to enjoy good food and drinks? Although Sang Yu tends to be frugal, she never deprives herself when it comes to food.
To put it simply, Sang Yu is a bit of a foodie.
What are foodies best at? Well, besides eating well, they also know how to cook. So Sang Yu's culinary skills are quite decent; she mostly cooks for herself and only eats out occasionally when cravings hit.
Tonight she plans to stir-fry some Shiitake Bok Choy and make Coca-Cola Chicken Wings while steaming rice—a dish with both meat and vegetables along with rice. The leftover rice can be turned into fried rice for breakfast tomorrow morning. Just thinking about it feels utterly perfect!
