The mall was surprisingly crowded today, perhaps because it was the weekend. The food court on the fourth floor was nearly full, with almost every restaurant occupied. 0

"Welcome! How many in your party?" 0

"Two," Lu Jing replied. 0

"Great, this way please!" The server led them to one of the last two available tables against the wall. 0

On the table, there was a QR code. "You can scan the code to order. If you need anything, just let me know. Enjoy your meal!" 0

Lu Jing took out his phone and scanned the QR code. "What do you want to eat? You choose," he said, handing the phone to Sang Yu. 0

Sang Yu didn’t hesitate; she took the phone and selected a Braised Pot for two to three people, which included chicken wings and shrimp in a sweet Korean flavor that she really liked. 0

After placing the order, Lu Jing asked, "What drink should we get?" 0

"Orange juice," Sang Yu replied. It was her favorite drink. 0

As they waited for their food, Sang Yu felt a bit awkward. Even though they had spent time alone together several times before, she still struggled to find topics to discuss with Lu Jing and found herself staring at her phone instead. 0

She couldn’t help but feel a little down; despite her growth over time, she still wasn’t great at making conversation. This thought made her feel somewhat insecure. 0

"Is your phone that interesting?" Lu Jing asked, seemingly unaware of Sang Yu's mood as he initiated a conversation. 0

"Huh?" Sang Yu responded, caught off guard. 0

"I mean, is your phone really that captivating? We haven't seen each other in days—don’t you miss me?" 0

Sang Yu froze at his question. How bold could he be to ask something like that? They didn’t have any special relationship after all. 0

Seeing her stunned expression made Lu Jing laugh; he realized that every time he was with Sang Yu, she had a way of making him smile. It seemed he had forgotten how upset he had been with her just moments before. 0

"You don’t miss me? But I definitely miss you," Lu Jing said, his eyes fixed on Sang Yu. 0

To ease her embarrassment, Sang Yu picked up her water glass and took a sip. 0

"Um, it’s been a while—why hasn’t our food arrived yet?" 0

Lu Jing noticed her shyness and decided to change the subject. "It’s pretty busy here; looks like we’ll have to wait a bit. How has work been these days?" 0

Sang Yu felt relieved that Lu Jing had dropped the previous topic. "It’s been okay, just a bit tiring. But I think this phase will be over soon." 0

Sang Yu's face broke into a smile. 0

"Hmm? A new teacher is coming?" Lu Jing knew about Sang Yu's situation at school. 0

"Yes, I heard that next month a teacher from another school will be transferring here. They are expected to take over the language classes for both Class Three and Class Four," Sang Yu replied cheerfully, clearly looking forward to the arrival of the new teacher. 0

Lu Jing nodded, "That sounds great; it means you'll have a bit more ease." 0

As they chatted, it started with Lu Jing asking most of the questions while Sang Yu answered. Gradually, the conversation became more relaxed, and Sang Yu began to speak up more, her smile growing brighter with each exchange. 0
