Sang Xia stared in shock at the scene before her. Had her father really caught her?

Sang's monther rushed over to pull Sang's father away. "Lao Sang! Stop it! You're scaring the child!"

Lu Jingzhi winced in pain as he gritted his teeth. "Uncle, if you're upset, just hit me again. I absolutely won’t break up with Sang Yu."
"What did you say? Not breaking up? Try it! I will never allow you two to be together; don’t even think about it!" Sang's father was furious; how could this kid say such a thing with a straight face?
Sang's monther tapped Sang's father on the shoulder. "Calm down! Let’s talk about this."
She was still confused; her daughter was just dating someone—why was he so angry? He hadn’t stopped her when he introduced potential suitors before.
Sang's father pointed at Lu Jingzhi. "Did you see that? That man is your daughter’s boyfriend."
Sang's monther nodded; she knew that already—hadn’t she just said so?
Sang's father sneered, "Do you know why I hit him?"
"Why?" Sang's monther asked.
"Ha! If you knew who he was, you’d want to hit him too!"
"Talking to this old man is so frustrating! Just tell me why you hit him instead of going around in circles!"
"Da Bao, you tell her!" Sang's monther impatiently urged Sang's father.
Sang Yu's heart raced again; she didn’t know how to speak up. At that moment, Lu Jingzhi stepped forward, covering his face and said, "Hello Auntie, I’m Sang Yu’s boyfriend—I'm Lu Jingzhi. Ouch! My face really hurts!"
Lu Jingzhi?! Clearly, Sang's monther was also taken aback. Was it as she had thought? Sang's monther turned to confirm with Sang's father, hmpf!
No wonder her old man wanted to give him a beating; now, her hands were feeling a bit itchy too. What should she do?
