"Now? Childish! Rascally! Thick-skinned! Even more infuriating than before, hahaha! And sometimes you even act cute with her, something she never would have imagined before."
Lu Jingzhi watched Sang Yu laugh heartily, her heart mischievously thinking, "Let you enjoy yourself for a while; soon enough, you'll have your share of trouble."
As soon as Sang Yu entered the door, Lu Jingzhi pressed her against the door and kissed her fiercely. After so many days of only being able to look but not touch, was there anything more torturous than this?
After a while, Lu Jingzhi finally released Sang Yu, holding her tightly in his arms with his head buried in her shoulder, deeply inhaling her scent.
Sang Yu felt a ticklish sensation from Lu Jingzhi's light touches on her neck and laughed as she dodged him. "What are you doing? That tickles!"
"Baby, did you miss me?"
"Aren't we seeing each other every day?" Sang Yu couldn't deny that since Lu Family sent the betrothal gifts, Lu Jingzhi had been visiting her home almost daily.
Speaking of which, Lu Jingzhi felt even more wronged. What difference did it make to see each other? He couldn't hug or kiss her; every time her father was watching closely, he didn't dare get too close.

Sang Yu thought about how Sang's father had been acting these days and couldn’t help but smile. Every time Lu Jingzhi came over, her father sat not far away, staring at him. Sang Yu didn’t want to say anything; it would only irritate her father further. However, it was indeed a bit unfair to Lu Jingzhi these past few days. "Hehe, I’m sorry for making you suffer," she said as she planted a kiss on Lu Jingzhi's cheek for comfort.
Lu Jingzhi instantly felt like a pampered dog, incredibly obedient as he nuzzled against Sang Yu's neck.
Sang Yu could hardly stand it anymore; her head tilted back involuntarily. "Can we negotiate something? Could you stop acting like a little dog nuzzling all over me?"
"No way! I like it this way."
"I don’t like it."
After playing around for a while longer with Lu Jingzhi, Sang Yu finally lost patience and got angry. Seeing his girlfriend genuinely upset made Lu Jingzhi reluctantly tone it down.
Sang Yu sighed in relief; she had really misjudged him before. Was it too late to return him now?
"You clean the table and stuff first," Sang Yu instructed Lu Jingzhi while she changed the sheets and duvet on the bed and tossed them into the washing machine.
The house wasn’t big; with both of them cleaning together, they quickly tidied up the room until it sparkled.
Sang Yu looked at the bright little room and nodded in satisfaction; she would be able to sleep well tonight.
"Let's make a trip to the supermarket." Although she had brought some food from home, there were still many things they needed to buy.
