One day, Ling Xin stood outside Yiming Pavilion with a sign that clearly stated: "Today only selling coffins, no consultations."
Just as she was about to turn around and tidy up the shop, she suddenly heard someone call out to her from behind. As soon as she turned her head, a stick came crashing down toward her face.

The leader, the Purple Robed Man, forced himself to speak despite his discomfort. "We invited you to the Holy Grove Pavilion because we have a patient who needs your exceptional medical skills."
Ling Xin froze for a moment, her heart racing. They claimed this was the Holy Grove Pavilion? The notorious establishment that had drained many women of their silver in Fengcheng County? No wonder there were so many handsome men around!
Her eyes darted mischievously as she rubbed her hands together with a sly grin. "Is the gentleman indulging too much? Or has he caught some sort of disease?"
The Purple Robed Man's lips twitched involuntarily. "Miss..."
Ling Xin completely ignored the change in their expressions and continued cheerfully, "So you mean to say that you can't perform, and you want me to prescribe something to help you regain your vigor?"
"Enough..." Someone in the group was already grinding their teeth in anger.
This time, Ling Xin finally grasped the situation. She had teased them enough and realized it was time to back off.
With a smile, she said, "I only sell coffins. If you have such needs, I can certainly offer you a discount. But as for treating illnesses, I never treat men!"
The crowd exchanged glances, unsure of what to believe. Although they found it hard to accept that this young girl possessed such remarkable medical skills, the doctors in the city had all been helpless against the illness, and each one had stated that only she could cure it...
"Miss, I offer you ten thousand taels," one man declared.
Ten thousand taels! How many coffins would one have to sell to earn that much?
