I looked up to see Chen Dahao standing in front of me, holding a cup of American Coffee. He was wearing a simple white T-shirt today, which made him appear particularly fresh and clean. 0

"Get to the point; I'm in a hurry," I said coldly. 0

He pulled out a chair and sat down across from me, a playful smile curling at the corners of his mouth. 0

"Don't be so cold; we're going to be long-term partners from now on." 0

A chill ran down my spine, and an ominous feeling washed over me. 0

"What do you mean?" I asked warily. 0

He leisurely took a sip of his coffee before slowly speaking. "Senior Management has decided that we will form a fixed partnership to create a brand new Live Show." 0

"What?! No way!" I shot up from my seat, staring at him in disbelief. 0

He shrugged, feigning indifference. "It's Senior Management's decision; there's nothing I can do about it." 0

I trembled with anger, feeling like I had been played. 0

"Chen Dahao, you must have known about this on purpose! You knew all along, didn't you?" I glared at him. 0

He smiled without replying, a glint of cunning flashing in his eyes. 0

I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. 0

"Fine, if that's the case, then I'll play along! I want to see what tricks you have up your sleeve!" 0

I turned and left the café, my mind racing with thoughts on how to tackle the upcoming challenges. 0

As soon as I reached the company entrance, my agent approached me with an excited smile on her face. 0

"Tong Tong! Great news! Senior Management has decided to pair you with Chen Dahao for a new Live Show!" 0

I was stunned, feeling as if I had been struck by lightning. 0

Not this again! Could it be that everything Chen Dahao just said was true? 0

I weakly rubbed my forehead, sensing a dark cloud looming over my future. 0

"Tong Tong, what's wrong? Aren't you happy? This is a rare opportunity!" My agent looked at me in confusion. 0

I forced a smile and said, "Of course I'm happy." What else could I say? 0

I had to accept this harsh reality; I couldn't fight against the odds. 0

"Let's go, we need to head to the conference room," my manager said, pulling me along. 0

Inside the conference room, Senior Management and Chen Dahao were already waiting for us. 0

As I walked in, Senior Management smiled and said, "Shu Tong, I know there's been a bit of friction between you and Dahao, but that's exactly what makes the show interesting." 0

"The audience loves watching your love-hate dynamic." 0

I suppressed the urge to roll my eyes and forced a smile, replying, "You're right." 0

Chen Dahao sat nearby, wearing a half-smirk that was both mocking and challenging. I felt an overwhelming desire to rush over and slap that smug face of his. 0

After the meeting ended, I walked alone down the corridor, feeling increasingly frustrated. 0

Suddenly, a hand landed on my shoulder. 0

I turned around to find it was Chen Dahao. 0

"Tong Tong Zi, it seems we'll be spending a lot of time together from now on," he said, leaning closer and speaking softly. 0

I recoiled in disgust and shook off his hand. "Don't touch me!" 0

He chuckled lightly. "Don't be so resistant; who knows what unexpected sparks we might create through our collaboration?" 0

"And," he paused, his gaze growing intense, "I'm becoming more and more interested in your true identity." 0

My heart sank. What did he know? 0

"Tong Tong Zi, looking forward to our collaboration," Chen Dahao said before turning to leave. 0

I stood there alone, my mind in chaos. What did his last statement mean? 0
