Gu Si Yi and Wu Yunyun had been coexisting peacefully for three months. When she described it as peaceful, it was more from Wu Yunyun's perspective, as Gu Si Yi was a prominent figure at school, which inadvertently brought her some notoriety as well. During this time, she passively learned the names of Gu Si Yi's ex-girlfriends—his first, second, and third—and discovered that his longest relationship had lasted only a brief period. Consequently, she did not hold out much hope for their own relationship. 0

Recently, whenever Gu Si Yi was at her home, he seemed distracted. Wu Yunyun tried several times to ask him what was wrong but ultimately lacked the courage to do so. She feared he might be contemplating a breakup. 0

As they entered the living room, Wu Yunyun noticed Mr. Gu and Mrs. Gu were present, along with Gu Old Lady and Gu Old Man. Additionally, there was a strange woman who was accompanied by a three-year-old child. 0

A sense of foreboding crept into Wu Yunyun's mind as she turned to look at Gu Si Yi; he met her gaze. In that moment, under his watchful eyes, Wu Yunyun confirmed her suspicions. While such occurrences were not uncommon in wealthy families, witnessing it firsthand still left her somewhat shaken. 0

Before Wu Yunyun could speak up, Gu Si Yi had already moved on to discuss his own living arrangements, not sparing a glance for the people in the living room. Watching his retreating figure sent an inexplicable chill through Wu Yunyun; he seemed unnaturally calm. 0

Not daring to look back at the living room again, she took a secluded path to her own space. She sat dejectedly on the edge of her bed, pulled out her phone, and opened a chat window, contemplating what to say to comfort him but unsure how to reach out. Moreover, she questioned whether he truly needed her intrusion at that moment. 0

Meanwhile, Gu Si Yi lay on his bed, already aware of the news about having a younger brother. His friends often mentioned siblings appearing out of nowhere; for them, it was hardly surprising. His parents were merely bound together by family interests, their feelings for each other almost negligible. Maintaining a semblance of peace between them was quite an achievement; at least it spared him from significant emotional turmoil. 0

After a short while, he dismissed those thoughts from his mind—there was no point in dwelling on matters beyond his control. He refused to waste even a moment on things he could not change. 0

He thought of Wu Yunyun. Just now, when she looked at him, her eyes were filled with a cautious intensity. Perhaps it was time to seek some comfort from her. 0

With that thought in mind, he took out his phone and sent her a message: 0
"I'm feeling a bit down." 0

Wu Yunyun saw the message from Gu Si Yi and, without hesitation, replied with a Big Hug emoji. 0

Gu Si Yi looked at the two hugging cats in the image, a smile creeping onto his lips as he typed a response: 0
"I want a real hug." 0

"Then, that day." 0
"Tonight, Wu Yunyun, come to the backyard at ten. I'll be waiting by the big bear." 0

Wu Yunyun pondered for a moment before finally agreeing to meet him. 0

Eager to embrace him, she took a shower beforehand and changed into clean clothes. 0

That evening, while Wu's Mother was asleep, Wu Yunyun quietly opened the door and stepped outside. She walked over to the big bear statue and plucked a yellow flower from it, waiting for Gu Si Yi. 0

Her heart raced with anxiety as she glanced around nervously, afraid someone might suddenly appear. The big bear cast shadows that obscured distant lights, and dressed in dark clothing, Wu Yunyun—standing at just one meter forty—was nearly invisible behind it. 0

After looking around for a while, she finally spotted Gu Si Yi approaching her in his dark loungewear. Clutching the flower in her hand, her heart raced faster than ever. 0
