In the afternoon, Yu Chan suggested that they go to the bar run by her cousin. Wu Yunyun was initially hesitant, but curiosity got the better of her, and she agreed.
The two arrived at a famous bar in Teikyo, where Yu Chan's cousin, Zhou Liaosheng, was already waiting at the entrance. Upon seeing Yu Chan, he pulled her into a tight embrace and exclaimed, "What brings you here today, my dear aunt?"
"Stop being so cheeky!" Yu Chan spun around and broke free from his grasp, introducing him, "This is my best friend, Wu Yunyun."
"Now standing before you is my unreliable cousin, Zhou Liaosheng," Yu Chan added as she took Wu Yunyun's hand.
"You there, little beauty," Zhou Liaosheng said with a playful grin as he extended his tattooed hand adorned with a butterfly design towards Wu Yunyun.
Wu Yunyun instinctively stepped behind Yu Chan.
Yu Chan swatted Zhou Liaosheng's hand away and said, "Alright, let’s get us inside."
"Then let’s go, two lovely ladies," he replied.
As they walked in, Wu Yunyun stayed closely behind Yu Chan, not daring to look around. She felt the lights around them constantly shifting colors and the air filled with a cacophony of music. Her heart raced until they stopped in front of a private room.
Zhou Liaosheng placed a golden card on the doorknob and then opened the door. He stood at the entrance and gestured for them to enter. "I see this little beauty beside you is quite timid; I won’t intrude."
"It's rare for you to be so considerate; why don’t you step back?"
"Your humble servant takes his leave!" Zhou Liaosheng bowed slightly and gradually stepped back.
"Let’s go, Wu Yunyun! Let’s relax today!"
Wu Yunyun nodded in agreement and entered the private room.
Gu Si Yi had initially felt bored and stepped out into the hallway for some fresh air. A casual glance unexpectedly revealed someone he thought he would never see again.
Three years ago, he learned that she had returned to Yun Cheng, likely because of him. He stubbornly believed that he could live without her, even though she often appeared in his dreams. In fact, during his first wet dream, she was the one who featured in it.
After standing outside for a while, he returned to the private room where Sun Xian and the others were engrossed in their games. He sat in a corner, staring at his phone.
Unable to resist, he clicked on her profile picture and removed her from his blacklist. He looked through their conversations from years ago; most of them were messages she had sent him:
"Gu Si Yi, there are so many stars tonight, it's really beautiful."
"Gu Si Yi, I almost fell asleep in English class today. The teacher is so boring; I don't like him."
"Gu Si Yi, you won't believe it! I ran the 800 meters test today and came in second! I never expected that. But I usually don't exercise much, so I'm sure my legs will be sore when I wake up tomorrow."
Gu Si Yi had been staring down for a long time, lost in thought, until someone approached him without him noticing. The name above the chat box was clearly visible to Sun Xian, who looked at Gu Si Yi with confusion in his eyes.
His impression of Wu Yunyun was that of a somewhat poor and timid person. As for her appearance, he could only describe it as cute.
He placed his hand on Gu Si Yi's forehead and muttered to himself, "You're not even running a fever."
Gu Si Yi had already put his phone away and stepped out of the booth to find the bar manager. At that moment, his longing had taken root; he was no longer satisfied with just seeing her profile.
