In November, the temperature in Teikyo dropped noticeably. The coffee shop began to see an increase in customers. One day, a blue-eyed foreigner walked straight up to Wu Yunyun and ordered a cup of coffee in English. Wu Yunyun informed him that he could find any seat and wait; she would bring the coffee over once it was ready.
The blue-eyed man looked at Wu Yunyun and eventually chose a seat directly across from her. He took out his laptop and started working. Soon, Wu Yunyun brought his coffee and placed it on the table.
The blue-eyed man looked at her and directly asked, "Are you married?"
Wu Yunyun was taken aback by his straightforwardness but maintained a polite smile as she replied, "Yes, I am."
He seemed a bit disappointed but complimented her, saying, "You are very beautiful."
Despite being married, Wu Yunyun couldn't help but feel pleased by the compliment from such a handsome man. She thought that after mentioning her marital status, the blue-eyed man would refrain from any further advances. However, after visiting for a week straight, he asked for her WeChat.
Without hesitation, Wu Yunyun politely declined. Her English was limited to everyday conversations, and she certainly didn't want this man to develop any other intentions.
Though he didn't get her WeChat, he continued to come every day, sitting there for the entire afternoon. One day, Gu Si Yi came to pick up Wu Yunyun as usual and noticed the blue-eyed man with a furrowed brow. He remembered having seen him many times before.
Unable to contain her curiosity, one of the female staff members whispered to Gu Si Yi that the blue-eyed man came every day just to see Sister Yun.
After hearing this, Gu Si Yi looked at the blue-eyed man with even more disdain. When Wu Yunyun returned from the restroom and saw Gu Si Yi, she was about to hug him when he stopped her and asked about the blue-eyed man.
"Oh, he had a crush on me before and even wanted my WeChat," Wu Yunyun said as she affectionately wrapped her arm around his. "What’s wrong? Are you jealous?"
Gu Si Yi denied it, saying he simply found him unpleasant.
"Come on, I don’t have anything going on with him. Besides, if someone likes me, it just means you’re taking good care of me," she teased. "Do you want me to become an old hag?"
With a teasing remark from Wu Yunyun, Gu Si Yi pulled her close and said, "Even if you’re a yellow-faced woman, I still like you." He always had a sharp tongue.
The shop assistant, witnessing the sweet interaction between the two, decided she had enough of the dog food and quietly walked away.
Gu Si Yi asked Wu Yunyun to wait aside while he sat down opposite Blue-eyed. Wu Yunyun watched as they chatted for a while, but the conversation was too fast for her to follow.
Once they stepped outside, she asked Gu Si Yi what they had talked about.
"Nothing much. I just gave him a little lesson, telling him not to casually ask married people for their WeChat."
Wu Yunyun didn’t know how to respond and symbolically gave a thumbs-up to the immature man.
Before bed, she leaned against him and shared her feelings. She told him that he was charming even in middle school; every time he tutored her, she couldn’t help but want to bite his sexy Adam's apple.
She confessed that every time they walked home together, she actually wanted to hold his hand. After their first hand-holding, she almost couldn’t bear it and wanted to take it back, wanting to tell him that she truly loved him deeply.
So many things were expressed in her words, all conveying her love for him.
Therefore, Gu Si Yi didn’t need to feel jealous. No one could compare to him.
