He gazed out the window, Old Zhou.
"Principal, I'm really troubled by this matter. I don't know how to thank you, as it has quite an impact."
The Old Principal cast a glance at the overcast sky in the distance, his expression growing solemn as he slowly replied, "Old Zhou, never bring this up again."
The other party chuckled a few times, the laughter tinged with a hint of understanding. "I understand, I understand!"
After hanging up the phone, a complex emotion faded from the Old Principal's eyes.
The Time Rewind ended.
"I’m getting more and more confused," Qi Qiuluo said with a distressed expression. "And they didn’t even give a clear hint; we still don’t know how Wang Xiaoyan died."
Tan Ming stood nearby, stroking his chin, deep in thought.
In the first scene of the principal's office, Wang Xiaoyan was mentioned, but in the second scene, she wasn’t mentioned at all. Yet this Time Rewind presented scenes related to Wang Xiaoyan.
So, the so-called gratitude from Old Zhou to the Old Principal must be connected to Wang Xiaoyan.
But what connection could there be between Wang Xiaoyan and the murderer? They seemed to have no direct relationship.
If there was no connection, why did Wang Xiaoyan's file suddenly appear? And who was the person trying to destroy documents in the archive room? Was he the murderer?
If he was indeed the murderer, what was his motive for doing this? What documents was he destroying? And how were those documents related to the murderer?
Tan Ming pondered these questions as his gaze fell on the file of Wang Xiaoyan in his hands. His eyes unintentionally landed on her date of birth: Year Month.
It had just been Years since Wang Xiaoyan's death!
This number felt familiar!
Tan Ming recalled that when the system activated, they were given fifteen minutes of preparation time. The Termination Evolution Talisman was also Fifteen Hours; his Time Rewind lasted fifteen minutes, along with a clue about the Killer on the fifteenth floor.
These all contain fifteen! This is definitely not a coincidence! Tan Ming thought to himself.
"Did you find any clues left by the murderer?" Zhang Liu asked, looking at their varied expressions with confusion.
"Are the clues related to the scene we just saw?"
"I'm not sure," Tan Ming replied. He unconsciously scanned the principal's office, his gaze landing on the wall opposite the desk.
There hung a large calligraphy piece, elegantly framed in gold, with four bold characters that read "Heaven's Way Rewards Diligence." The brushwork was vigorous and powerful, showcasing a masterful hand.

Sun Dongyue was their current principal, while the Old Principal mentioned in Time Rewind was from previous administrations.
Yan Qing searched around the office but found no useful information. Noticing the desk connected to a drawer, he recalled the detail from Time Rewind where the Old Principal hid a notebook inside. Curiosity piqued, he reached out and opened the drawer.
