After applying the medicine, Yan Qing quickly put on his pants. Qi Qiuluo couldn't help but laugh at him, teasing, "I've never seen a guy with legs as smooth as a girl's. You’re not actually a girl, are you?" His tone was filled with mockery. 0

"You’re the one who’s like a girl," Yan Qing shot him a glare, his expression darkening instantly. 0

"Come on, I’m just speaking the truth," Qi Qiuluo shrugged. 0

"I’m not lying either," Yan Qing raised his voice slightly, irritated. The thing he hated most in life was being compared to a woman. 0

This reminded him of his freshman year when someone had maliciously edited his photo to make him look like a girl, and he was even nominated as the campus beauty. It might have been just someone’s twisted sense of humor, but afterward, he endured a long period of insults. Even now, there were still comments on his blog calling him perverted and other derogatory terms. 0

"You're getting worked up over nothing," Qi Qiuluo rolled his eyes. 0

"Let’s go," Tan Ming interrupted them. He regretted not sending Qi Qiuluo away while Yan Qing was applying the medicine. 0

Tan Ming grabbed Yan Qing's arm and stepped down first. Qi Qiuluo followed slowly behind, looking awkward as he hesitated whether to approach or not. 0

Tan Ming warned Yan Qing not to trust Qi Qiuluo easily. 0

Hearing this, Qi Qiuluo's face flushed with anger. "What kind of good person are you, Tan Ming?" His voice dripped with resentment. "You can’t even keep your bad-mouthing discreet?" 0

"Better than you," Tan Ming replied coldly. 0

Qi Qiuluo laughed. "Better than me? Look around," he lowered his voice conspiratorially. "Don’t think I didn’t see it; in the Administrative Building, you pulled out two cards." 0

Although the two cards were stacked together, Qi Qiuluo had played cards for years and could spot something amiss at a glance. 0

"Are you really going to say that?" Tan Ming stopped and turned around, his gaze sharp as he questioned him. 0

"What do you mean?" Qi Qiuluo's heart tightened. 0

Tan Ming casually slipped his hand into his pocket and slowly pulled out a folded piece of paper, handing it to Qi Qiuluo. 0

Qi Qiuluo opened it suspiciously and saw the contents inside; his expression changed dramatically. "You—" 0

Tan Ming shot him a cold glance, his penetrating eyes seeming to see right through him; the act was quite convincing. 0

A warning bell rang in Qi Qiuluo's mind. When did Tan Ming find out? 0

"What’s written on that paper?" Yan Qing asked curiously. 0

"Why is Qi Qiuluo reacting so strongly?" 0

"Alright, you really are impressive!" Qi Qiuluo said, tearing the paper into shreds and stuffing it into his pocket. 0

He took the lead and walked away, passing by Tan Ming, and remarked, "There will come a time when you need to ask me for help." 0

What was going on with him? Yan Qing looked on in confusion. 0

Tan Ming stared intently at Qi Qiuluo's retreating figure and succinctly summarized, "He's lost it." 0

After that, Qi Qiuluo wore a stern expression as he sat in a corner, not engaging with those around him. 0

The others silently counted down in their minds. When they reached zero, the lights in the restaurant suddenly went out. 0

Darkness enveloped the surroundings in an instant. 0

Outside the restaurant, the chaotic cries of animals echoed once more. 0

Having evolved, their sense of smell had expanded further, drawing them to the rich scent of humans inside the restaurant. 0

Everyone held their breath; the vast dining area was eerily quiet, so much so that they could almost hear each other's heartbeats. 0

The animals violently slammed against the restaurant's door, and the students inside could clearly feel the ground shaking beneath them. 0

They dared not make a move, anxiously waiting as each second felt like an eternity. 0
