Tan Ming speculated two possibilities. Either the predictions made by the Prophet had been tampered with, or the Prophet had indeed predicted that Xiao Wang was the murderer. Among the messengers, when Xiao Wang was mentioned, who did everyone subconsciously think of? It was Xiao Wang Yi.
If the first conclusion is correct, then the one who tampered with the prediction could only be Xiao Wang. His expression shifted to one of rationality as he pressed his lips together in silence. He struggled back and forth like this.
Finally, he closed his eyes tightly, clutching his head as the flames engulfed him. In the last moment, he suddenly opened his eyes wide and looked at Yan Qing. His pale face shifted as he let out a faint laugh and turned away.
Yan Qing was also engulfed in flames.
"Yan Qing?" Tan Ming watched in horror as Yan Qing caught fire and turned to Xiao Wang. "What have you done?"
Xiao Wang's face was terrifyingly pale, his eyes red and cold like a vengeful spirit. He roared, "What have I done? Of course, I pulled him down with me! Last time in the restaurant, I saved him."
Thus, Xiao Wang believed that Yan Qing's life belonged to him.
"You!" Tan Ming clenched his fists.
Xiao Wang laughed maniacally like a madman. "I'm going to die; at least I'm not alone."
With that, Xiao Wang breathed his last, his body turning to ashes within an hour.
"You! Tan Ming hasn't finished asking yet."
The system's voice echoed, "Disciplinary Action completed. Congratulations to the Envoy for eliminating a murderer. Please continue your efforts."
In light of the Envoy's successful elimination of a murderer, two reward keywords have been granted: Office, Woman.
