Suddenly!
A talisman struck Lin Ran!
It was Gatekeeper Grandpa!
Holding three talismans, he stood in front of us, declaring, "Monsters! Do not be so arrogant!"
I hid behind the boss.

I tightly gripped the runes and the Jar, beads of sweat forming in my palm.
Lin Ran was getting closer and closer to me.
Her pale face and bright red lips were particularly eerie.
I covered my mouth to keep myself from crying out.
"Yu Bo, it's up to you now," the boss said to me, trembling.
I gritted my teeth and threw the rune at Lin Ran.
The rune struck Lin Ran, and she was hit by a beam of golden light.

Lin Ran fell to the ground, writhing in pain.
The boss quickly picked up the Jar from the ground. "Hurry! Use the Jar to capture her!"
I picked up the Jar carefully and approached Lin Ran.
"Yu Bo! Quickly, stick the rune onto the Jar!"
I did as instructed.
"Yu Bo, put Lin Ran into the Jar!"
I lifted the lid of the Jar and moved closer to Lin Ran.
Just then, a light emanated from her abdomen!
The Jar slipped from my hands and fell to the ground with a sharp clatter.
"What... what is happening?"
The boss and Gatekeeper Grandpa were equally bewildered.
"Lin Ran is pregnant with a ghostly fetus!" the boss exclaimed.

Pregnant with a ghostly fetus?
No wonder Lin Ran had changed so much.
I picked up the Jar, preparing to act according to Gatekeeper Grandpa's instructions.
"Yu Bo, let your blood drip onto the Jar."
Blood?
I hesitated.
Seeing my hesitation, the boss urged me, "Yu Bo, hurry up!"
Chen Ling suddenly stood up and walked over to my side.
She discreetly winked at me when no one was paying attention.
In an instant, I understood her meaning!

I let my blood fall onto the outside of the Jar.
In case Lin Ran makes any sudden moves later, I can escape in time.
"Alright!" I shouted to Gatekeeper Grandpa.
He nodded, signaling the boss to take action.
The boss grinned, revealing a sinister smile.
Suddenly, Chen Ling stood up and rushed towards the boss, embracing him. "Boss!"
I widened my eyes at the scene before me.
What was happening with Chen Ling?
Why did she suddenly hug the boss?
"Run!"
Chen Ling shouted, and I immediately reacted!
She was trying to save me!
Just moments ago, she had told me to stay away from the boss, and now she was holding onto him!
She must have discovered something incredible!
I have to escape!
“Yu Bo, let Lin Ran out now!”
I trembled as I picked up the jar.
