My Mom waved her hand and instructed, "Go, tell the finance department to triple Yu Fang's bonus."

As she spoke, My Mom glanced at Chen Zhiwen, who was sitting on the sofa.

My dad sat silently on the sofa, his head lowered.
After finishing a cigarette, he remained silent for a long time.

Uncle rubbed his hands together, wearing a humble smile.
Aunt chimed in, "Yes, Second Brother."
"You and Sister-in-law are both girls; it won't do for such a large estate to go without an heir."
"Why not transfer a house to Da Zhuang now? It would give him a place to land."
"You can't just keep such substantial Family Assets for yourselves and let outsiders benefit in the end."
Chen Zhiwen lowered his head and drank silently.
Wang Shuqin chuckled softly from the side.
Aunt slammed the table. "Sister-in-law, what do you mean by that?"
"Zhiwen promised everyone that he would leave the Family Assets to Da Zhuang."
"You aren't thinking of going back on your word now, are you?"
Wang Shuqin gently patted her hand. "Sister-in-law, why are you in such a hurry?"
"Guests from afar are still relatives, after all."

I sat quietly, watching the drama unfold.

Chen Zhiwen put down his glass.
He remained silent for a long time, casting a meaningful glance at Uncle.
"Letting Da Zhuang inherit the family assets will have to wait until I'm dead."
In an instant, the room fell silent.
