After returning to the real world, Su Yuqing devoted herself wholeheartedly to the work of safeguarding the balance of time and space. Utilizing the knowledge and experience she had accumulated during her adventures with Lin Mo, along with her in-depth research into ancient civilizations, she established a specialized Time-Space Research Team at the Archaeological Research Institute. The team brought together top experts from around the globe, all dedicated to exploring the mysteries of time and space and preventing potential crises.
During a study of ancient ruins, Su Yuqing discovered some strange Energy Fluctuations. These fluctuations were remarkably similar to the forces they had encountered when facing the Mysterious Organization, which raised her alarm. After thorough investigation, she found that the Remnant Forces of the Mysterious Organization were secretly active. Unwilling to accept defeat, they sought once again to find a way to manipulate time and space to complete their unfinished schemes.
Su Yuqing led her research team in tracking these Energy Fluctuations and ultimately discovered that the Remnant Forces had established a secret base in a remote mountainous area. To thwart their plans, Su Yuqing decided to lead an elite team into the mountains.
Upon their arrival, they found the area shrouded in a mysterious Energy Shield. The shield flickered with eerie light, seemingly blocking any external intrusion. Using her understanding of Time-Space Power, Su Yuqing attempted to decipher the secrets of the Energy Shield. After considerable effort, she finally identified its weak point and successfully led her team through.
Once inside the base, they discovered that the Remnant Forces were conducting a dangerous experiment. They were attempting to utilize an Ancient Ritual to open a small Time-Space Rift and harness powerful energy from it. Su Yuqing knew that if this experiment succeeded, it would bring catastrophic consequences to the world.
She led her team into fierce combat against the Remnant Forces. During the battle, Su Yuqing realized that these forces had gained a mysterious power boost, making them stronger than she had anticipated. However, she did not back down; instead, she cleverly used her surroundings and wits to counter their attacks.
Just as the battle reached a stalemate, Su Yuqing suddenly sensed a familiar power. Looking up, she saw a beam of light shooting from the Time-Space Rift as a figure slowly emerged. It was Lin Mo!
Lin Mo's body had become semi-transparent, radiating a soft glow. His eyes were filled with wisdom and strength, as if he had merged with time and space itself.
"Lin Mo!" Su Yuqing exclaimed excitedly.
Lin Mo smiled at her. "Su Yuqing, I sensed the crisis here and came back. The schemes of these Remnant Forces cannot succeed."
With Lin Mo joining the fight, the tide immediately turned. He wielded Time-Space Power effortlessly to defeat members of the Remnant Forces. Those mysterious powers seemed weak as ants before him.
With Lin Mo's help, Su Yuqing successfully halted the experiment of the Remnant Forces and closed the Time-Space Rift. After the battle ended, Su Yuqing and Lin Mo shared a brief reunion.
"Lin Mo, how did you come back? Didn't you merge with Time Eye?" Su Yuqing asked.
Lin Mo explained, "When I merged with Time Eye, I found that I did not disappear but gained a special form of existence. I can traverse through the cracks of time and space and sense changes in the world. When I sensed the crisis here, I rushed back."
Hearing this, Su Yuqing felt both joy and emotion in her heart. She knew that Lin Mo had never forgotten his mission or her.
However, Lin Mo told Su Yuqing that he could not stay in the real world for long. Although his fusion with Time Eye had restored balance to time and space, it also bound him closely to it. He must always guard against new crises arising.
"Su Yuqing, you must continue to bear the responsibility of safeguarding time and space. I will silently support you from deep within time," Lin Mo said.
Su Yuqing nodded firmly, her eyes shining with determination. "Don't worry, Lin Mo. I will inherit your will and protect the balance of time and space."
After bidding farewell to Lin Mo, he vanished once more into the cracks of time and space. Su Yuqing understood that they might not meet again for a long time, but she believed that whenever the world needed him again, Lin Mo would surely return.
Back at the Archaeological Research Institute, Su Yuqing continued leading her research team in their studies of time and space. They uncovered more secrets about time and space during their explorations and developed technologies capable of preventing temporal crises.
As time passed, the world gradually returned to its former tranquility. People lived peacefully without knowing how terrifying past crises had been. Yet Su Yuqing knew that safeguarding time would never end; her story with Lin Mo would also be passed down through generations.
