Three Grandmothers took out five bells from a bag and handed one to each of us. "You all must sleep with the bells tonight and cannot take them off." 0

"Wang Laowu died unjustly, and it's been seven years. No one has burned paper money for him; anyone would feel resentful." 0

"If you don't tell the truth, by the seventh night, no one will be able to save you." 0

Aunt said anxiously, "Auntie, I really don't know where Wang Laowu is! I only heard Wang Zhiming's Daughter-in-law say that Wang Laowu wrote her a letter." 0

Three Grandmothers asked, "Why did Wang Laowu argue with his Daughter-in-law?" 0

My mother thought for a moment and said, "It was raining that day; he wanted to catch Field Snails, but I stopped him because when I was cooking that morning, I noticed the fire was strong, yet not a single grain of rice had moved." 0

"Just like now, there’s not a sound at all; it’s very eerie." 0

After my mother finished speaking, her previously normal expression suddenly turned strange. 0

She suddenly pushed Aunt forcefully. "Let’s go! Hurry up!" 0

Aunt stumbled and nearly fell. 0

My little aunt was startled. "Sister-in-law, what’s wrong with you?" 0

But my mother ignored her and continued to push my little aunt and Aunt forward. 0

"Go! Go!" 0

Yet no matter how hard she pushed, neither of them moved an inch. 0

So she grabbed me and threw me into the Pond. 0

"Han Wa, go down quickly and keep your father company." 0

I was terrified. 0

Fortunately, my cousin was quick-witted and pulled me out of the water. 0

Early the next morning, Aunt asked my little aunt to get up early to cook porridge. 0

Everyone was going to the Pond today to arrange for the retrieval of the bodies, so we needed to eat well beforehand. 0

However, my little aunt had been in the kitchen for a long time without coming out. 0

Aunt had no choice but to limp into the kitchen. 0

She found my little aunt standing pale in front of the stove. 0

The grains of rice in the pot were standing still, unmoving. 0

Just like the bodies standing in the Pond. 0

Aunt sensed that something was wrong and hurriedly asked my cousin to call Three Grandmothers. 0

“Han Wa, go call Three Grandmothers,” Aunt said, pushing me slightly. 0

I shook my head. “I don’t want to go. Three Grandmothers is so fierce; I don’t want to.” 0

Aunt replied, “If you don’t go, who will? Should I go? My leg is broken; how can I go?” 0

I lowered my head and remained silent. 0

Aunt continued, “You go call Three Grandmothers, and I’ll give you that comic book from my room.” 0

She then pulled out five yuan from her pocket. “Here’s five yuan for you; you can buy some snacks.” 0

I shook my head again. “I don’t want it.” 0

Aunt gently patted my head and said, "Han Wa, don't be afraid. What Second Sister-in-law just said was all nonsense; you shouldn't take it seriously." 0

At that moment, my younger aunt suddenly brought over a bowl of porridge and offered it to Second Sister-in-law. "Sister-in-law, try this and see if the porridge is cooked." 0

As soon as Second Sister-in-law heard this, her expression changed immediately. 0

She looked at the bowl in my younger aunt's hands and trembled as she reached out to take it. 0

"Sister-in-law, hurry up and eat," my younger aunt urged. 0

"What am I supposed to eat?" Second Sister-in-law asked, staring at the half-cooked porridge, feeling a bit at a loss. 0

"Eat the porridge!" My younger aunt said with an innocent look on her face. 0

Second Sister-in-law sighed, "Alas! It seems I've truly gone mad; how could you start talking nonsense too?" 0

My younger aunt glanced at her and asked, "Sister-in-law, are you feeling unwell? Why don't you have some porridge first?" 0

As she spoke, she moved the bowl closer again. 0

Second Sister-in-law sighed helplessly, "Alas! It seems I really am losing my mind; how could even you..." 0
