Tong Le deleted her chat history with Zong Zeyu without a second thought. She splashed her face with cold water, trying to wake herself up a bit. However, the icy water only made her emotions more sensitive. She found it hard to resist Zong Zeyu's various gestures of affection; having been cared for by a man before, she felt a pang of bitterness.

Hou Yi's demeanor was icy as he asked for details about the perpetrator before instructing Sun Hu to deal with him. Sun Hu nodded eagerly, "Yes, President Hou! You can trust me to handle it!"
Still fiddling with the Red Woven Bracelet, Hou Yi commanded, "Arrange for my discharge from the hospital and handle matters at the company."
Sun Hu looked a bit flustered. "President Hou, you're not fully recovered yet. You don't need to worry about the company; we can—"
Hou Yi turned his head sharply, his eyes cold and unyielding. "Do you not understand what I'm saying?"
Sun Hu immediately backed down. "I'll go take care of the discharge paperwork right away!"
As Sun Hu turned to leave, Hou Yi added firmly, "Forget any grievances with Zong Group. Don't cause them any more trouble."
Sun Hu paused, looking bewildered. "But Dao Wen borrowed a million from us and only paid back that amount! We're at a loss here! Are we just going to let it go?"
Hou Yi tightened his grip on the bracelet, impatience flashing in his eyes that hinted at a murderous warning.
Sun Hu quickly exited the room.
Hou Yi pulled out his phone and called his female secretary at the office. Once connected, he asked, "You mentioned this morning that someone from Tongshan Real Estate would come to discuss cooperation with us shortly. Their name is Tong Le, right?"
The female secretary said, "It's President Hou. He scheduled a meeting for ten in the morning. President Li mentioned he would be here to host."
Hou Yi replied, "In half an hour, I need someone from Tongshan Real Estate to meet me at our company. Prepare a suit for me in the office, ironed and without a single wrinkle."
The female secretary responded, "Understood, President Hou. I'll get it ready right away."
