This encounter ignited an even stronger desire within him to make money. He realized he needed to become very wealthy; only then could he live like those who were rich!
When Lan Qingqing emerged from the restroom and spotted the small piece of paper in Mo Kai Liang's hand, she snatched it away. “What’s this?”
“A woman just gave it to me,” Mo Kai Liang replied innocently. “She wants me to contact her.”
He shook his head vigorously. “I won’t contact her!”
Lan Qingqing chuckled knowingly. “She’s clearly after your money. She probably saw you spending on me and thought you were a low-key rich guy. But in reality? You only have one hundred thousand yuan in your pocket.”
She laughed heartily. “I’m curious to see how she’ll react when she realizes she’s been fooled by you! That would be quite entertaining!”
With that, she shoved the note back into Mo Kai Liang's hand.
Mo Kai Liang did not understand. "Aren't you afraid I'll contact the other party? You don't mind?"
Lan Qingqing shrugged. "What’s there to be afraid of? Gold diggers are the smartest people around. Until they manage to swindle money, you won’t gain anything from them. Besides, you’re not exactly a wealthy person."
She walked towards the skincare counter. "Come with me to buy some Medical Aesthetics masks. I’m planning to get a nose job soon. Once I have a high nose bridge, I’ll look absolutely stunning!"
Thinking to herself, she resolved that once she became more beautiful, she would firmly capture Hou Yi's heart. She wanted to make him infatuated with her and drive that Wu Youyou crazy!
