The young nurse had heard rumors that a certain organ inside Lan Qingqing had been secretly removed during surgery. Whether this was true or not, it was a topic of gossip among the staff, and it made her want to escape this predatory place even more.

After quickly applying some lip gloss, Lan Qingqing took Li Xiang's hand and walked out of the ward.
The young nurse stared at the thousand dollars laid out on the table but hesitated to take it. She felt an ominous aura surrounding that tip, which only strengthened her resolve to resign.
Not long after Lan Qingqing left, Du Guangwei entered the ward. Upon seeing the cash on the table, he snatched it up without hesitation. He turned to shout at the staff outside, "Go tell those downstairs to demolish this room today! Redo the flooring, repaint the walls, throw everything inside away—clean it out!"
His gaze landed on the young nurse with impatience. "What are you still doing standing there? Get to work!"
The nurse stood frozen in place, confused. "Why do we need to redo this room?"
Du Guangwei scoffed dismissively. "That's none of your business! Don't ask!"
Meanwhile, downstairs, Lan Qingqing got into Mo Kai Liang's car. The current Mo Kai Liang seemed like a different person altogether; he had developed a sense of style, even if he still lacked an eye for matching clothes and only chose expensive items. His shoes were shiny and polished, and even his hair was slicked back with oil.
Mo Kai Liang presented Lan Qingqing with a large bouquet of roses and eagerly offered, "In these past two weeks, I've made over five hundred thousand. What do you want? I’ll buy it for you."
Admiring her reflection in a small mirror, Lan Qingqing sighed, "Ah, I really want to drink."
Mo Kai Liang chuckled as he looked at her round belly. "Once the baby is born, you'll be able to enjoy yourself."
Before he could finish his sentence, Mo Kai Liang noticed fresh red stains seeping through the fabric between Lan Qingqing's legs.
