The dormitory was enveloped in silence, with only the low hum of the air conditioner breaking the stillness. 0

I turned over, groggily wishing to continue my sleep. 0

Suddenly, a faint sound of a touchscreen being tapped broke through the quiet. 0

It wasn’t mine; my phone was charging beside my pillow. 0

I squinted, using the dim light filtering in from the window to glance at the bed across from me. 0

Lin Bing was asleep, but her eyes seemed only partially closed, leaving a narrow slit. 0

Her hand was holding her phone, fingers swiftly gliding across the screen. 0

What the hell? Sleepwalking and using her phone? That’s a new one. 0

Just then, she began to mumble softly, her voice unusually clear in the stillness of the night. 0

“I found it… her traces… they’re all hidden here…” 0

I jolted awake in an instant. 0

Her traces? Whose traces? 0

Before I could ponder further, my phone suddenly lit up, a notification popping up on the screen: 0

“New device detected attempting to access your Cloud Storage. Access has been blocked.” 0

Damn! 0

I shot up in bed. 0

“Who?!” 0

The loud shout woke up the other two roommates as well. 0

Chen Yu, who was on the upper bunk, poked her head out and asked, "What's wrong, Weiwei? Did you see a ghost in the middle of the night?" 0

Du Ran, who was on the lower bunk, reacted the fastest. She jumped out of bed and dashed to Lin Bing's side, snatching her phone away. 0

"Lin Bing! What are you doing?" 0

The bright flashlight shone on Lin Bing's face, causing her to wake up suddenly, looking completely dazed. 0

"Huh? What’s going on? Is it morning already?" 0

She glanced at the phone in Du Ran's hand and then at the three of us who looked like we were facing a crisis, becoming even more confused. 0

"My phone... how did it end up with you?" 0

Du Ran shoved the phone in front of her, displaying the screen that was stuck on a failed attempt to access my Cloud Storage. 0

"What do you have to say for yourself? Why are you sneaking around trying to access Weiwei's Cloud Storage in the middle of the night?" 0

Lin Bing stared at the screen, her face turning pale. 0

"I... I don’t know! I was dreaming just now!" 0

Chen Yu climbed down as well. "What kind of dream makes you get up in the middle of the night to invade someone else's Cloud Storage?" 0

Lin Bing stammered, "I... I dreamed I was in a huge Digital Archive filled with my digital traces. I wanted to delete them all and completely erase my past..." 0

Digital Archive? Erasing the past? That dream sounded way too cyberpunk. 0

Du Ran let out a cold laugh and began quickly operating Lin Bing's phone. 0

In no time, she illuminated the screen for us to see. 0

"Dreaming about deleting? I think you want to delete things in reality! Let’s see what kind of stuff you have on your phone!" 0

On the screen were several suspicious app icons, with names like "Data Stalker," "Trace Eraser," and "Deep Web Entrance." 0

"Goodness, are we filming 'The Matrix' here?" 0

Lin Bing looked at the apps with a shifty gaze. "I... I was just curious and wanted to download it to take a look..." 0

I felt my forehead throb with anger. 0

Curious? Curious enough to sneak into my Cloud Storage in the middle of the night? 0

I took a deep breath. 0

"Find the dorm supervisor. I want to change rooms." 0

The dorm supervisor turned pale after hearing our account. 0

In the middle of the night, she didn't hesitate and reported it directly to the school's Network Security Office. 0

Early the next morning, a teacher wearing a windbreaker and black-rimmed glasses, looking very much like a tech geek, came to our dorm. 0

He introduced himself as Mr. Li from the Network Security Office. 0

Mr. Li first examined Lin Bing's phone, his brows furrowing so tightly that he could crush a fly. 0
