Chun Zhou knew that if Bai Li cared about the matter, she would definitely catch the meaning behind her words. At this point, it was finally time for the glasses to make their appearance!

Chun Zhou was lounging on the couch with a group of young maidservants, engrossed in an animated discussion about "Jin Ping Mei." Just as they reached an exciting part of the story, everyone in the room was thrilled. Standing beside Bai Li Yu, Qing Yu couldn't hold back any longer and exclaimed, "What are you all doing? The General is right here!"
The people in the room were startled and quickly knelt down to apologize, with Chun Zhou looking particularly flustered.
Who would have thought that the General Baili had a habit of conducting surprise inspections of the servants' quarters? With a pale face, she joined the others on the floor, and Bai Li Yu couldn't help but smirk at her contrasting demeanor.
"You all can relax. Chun Zhou, come with me," he said.
Everyone let out a sigh of relief as Chun Zhou reluctantly stood up, frowning as she followed him.
They navigated through several intricately carved corridors and crossed a charming little bamboo bridge. Bai Li Yu dismissed the others and headed straight into the main bedroom.
Chun Zhou hesitated at the door, nervously tracing circles with her right toe, too afraid to step inside.
After a moment, she heard the General Baili speaking to himself inside—something about "find a place to sit" and "I have some questions for you." She found it odd; wasn't he alone in there?
Just as she was pondering this, the voice inside suddenly roared, "You haven't come in yet! Get in here! Close the door!"
The bedroom was lavishly decorated. Chun Zhou timidly stepped inside, closed the door, and turned around to find Bai Li Yu lounging on the couch in a relaxed pose, his expression composed.
Today he wore a white robe embroidered with silver patterns that exuded elegance. His long black hair was loosely tied back with a simple wooden hairpin.
Chun Zhou cautiously glanced over at him just as he lifted his gaze to meet hers. She felt her cheeks flush at the sight of his captivating peach blossom eyes and stood frozen by the pillar.
"Come here," Bai Li Yu said, squinting slightly to confirm that she had indeed entered before speaking slowly.
“What’s wrong?” Seeing her stunned and unresponsive, Bai Li Yu lost his patience and stepped down from the bed, walking towards Chun Zhou.
“W-What are you doing…” Chun Zhou looked at the man approaching her with a graceful demeanor, suddenly losing the courage expected of a modern person, her voice barely above a whisper.
“Didn’t you have something to say to me?” Bai Li Yu chuckled as he drew closer. Chun Zhou clenched her fists, her lower body tensing slightly, ready to unleash her Women’s Self-Defense Techniques at the moment he made contact.
However, after a long pause, there was no movement. When she looked up, she found Bai Li Yu embracing the large crimson pillar beside her with a wicked grin, saying, “...Huh? Why is this woman so sturdy? But… I like it, hehehe!”
Chun Zhou was left speechless, crossing her arms as she watched the bizarre scene unfold. Just before Bai Li Yu could lean in for a kiss on the pillar, she raised her hand slightly and said, “Um… General Bai Li, I’m right here.”
