Xiaoshuang was just about to take a picture of the tourists heading up when suddenly, a familiar figure walked into her frame. She lowered her camera, widened her eyes, and blinked a few times. 0

"Cousin Uncle?!" Xiaoshuang exclaimed in surprise. 0

A middle-aged man in his fifties turned around, and upon seeing Xiaoshuang, he paused for a moment before breaking into a hearty laugh and walking over. "Xiaoshuang! Is that really you? It's been so many years; you've grown so much!" 0

Excited, Xiaoshuang greeted her companions and jogged over. "Cousin Uncle, what brings you to Wuhan?" 0

"I’m in the silk business and come here once or twice a year. But what about you? How did you end up in Wuhan by yourself? Does your mother know?" 0

"I'm not alone," Xiaoshuang replied with a smile as she introduced her friends. "This is Shen Tong, this is Lin Mingchang, and this is Fang Zigui. They are all my good friends; we’re together." 0

Cousin Uncle looked over the four of them and nodded slightly. "Good, good! It's nice to see young people traveling together. I heard from your mother that you were working as a reporter in Spring City?" 0

"Yes," Xiaoshuang nodded. "I'm a photographer and work part-time at the newspaper." 0

"A photographer? That's great! Girls can have ambitions too! It's a new era!" Cousin Uncle said approvingly, his gaze falling on the camera in Xiaoshuang's hands. Suddenly remembering something, he added, "By the way, Xiaoshuang, since you're a photographer, would it be convenient for you to help Cousin Uncle with something?" 0

The four of them leaned in curiously. "What is it, Cousin Uncle?" 0

"I have a good friend in Changsha who is a master of Xiang Embroidery named Cheng Jinsheng," Cousin Uncle explained. "He’s preparing for a Centenary Hunan Embroidery Exhibition and wrote to me yesterday saying he needs an experienced photographer for the exhibition. He asked me to recommend someone." 0

Xiaoshuang glanced at her friends, and Lin Mingchang quickly picked up on her unspoken question. "That’s perfect! We’re planning to head to Changsha next anyway. If time permits, Xiaoshuang can definitely help with the photography." 0

Hearing this, Cousin Uncle was delighted and led Xiaoshuang to a stone table by the roadside. He quickly wrote a recommendation letter in his notebook, folded it neatly, and handed it to Xiaoshuang. "Take this to Cheng Jinsheng and tell him Jiang Guangyu sent you; he’ll treat you well." 0

After this little encounter, the four of them finally prepared to say goodbye to Wuhan. They waved farewell to Captain Lu Wei, who they had spent several days with, and boarded the passenger ship "Jiangtian" heading south along the Yangtze River towards Changsha. 0

A few days later, the Jiangtian arrived at Changsha Xiaoximen Dock. They navigated through the bustling dock area, asking around until they finally stopped in front of an inn called "Xiangshui Elegant Residence." 0

The inn was not tall but very quaint with its flying eaves and curved corners, exuding an air of Jiangnan charm. The four of them liked it very much; it was lively and convenient nearby, so they decided to settle there. 0

In the evening, they gathered at the entrance of the inn, preparing to go out in search of food. 0

"I've heard that the flavors in Changsha are quite strong," Xiaoshuang teased Zigui with a smile. "I wonder if you can handle it?" 0

Fang Zigui raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing at the corners of his mouth. "What, do you think I can't handle it?" 0

As they chatted and laughed, they walked along the stone-paved road for a while. Lin Mingchang pointed to a nearby restaurant and said, "How about that one? It looks good. Shall we give it a try?" 0
