Eileen struggled madly in the grip of the cicada, her heart filled with fear and despair. She swung her arms with all her might, trying to attack the massive insect, but her bare fists were useless against it. Her punches landed on its hard exoskeleton with a dull thud, as if striking solid stone. 0

Her struggles seemed to irritate the enormous cicada. Its compound eyes flickered with a cold light, each eye seemingly filled with endless anger and disgust. Eileen felt a powerful force emanating from the cicada, an invisible and irresistible power that instantly took control of her. 0

Suddenly, Eileen felt her entire body stiffen, as if bound by some unseen force. Her arms flailed in the air, unable to continue struggling, as if they were stuck. She tried to break free with all her strength, but the force was too overwhelming; her body was completely immobilized. 0

"No, don't do this!" Eileen screamed in her mind, her eyes wide with terror. She felt her will crumbling under the invisible pressure, filled with helplessness and despair. Her breathing became rapid, her heart pounding like a drum, plunging her into an indescribable horror. 0

The cicada's compound eyes coldly regarded Eileen, its countless eyes seeming to scrutinize her soul. The power grew stronger, tightening its grip on her body and making it hard for her to breathe. Her hands were paralyzed; she felt as though she were fixed in mid-air, unable to escape. 0

Eileen was overwhelmed by fear and despair; she realized she could no longer resist this powerful force. The invisible pressure seemed intent on destroying her will, causing immense pain and helplessness. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she was engulfed by endless sorrow and despair. 0

The maddening cicada song in Eileen's mind suddenly ceased, and for a moment, the world seemed to fall into silence again. This abrupt stillness made her ears buzz as if still echoing with sound, yet she sensed a glimmer of respite. The cicada's countless compound eyes continued to fixate on her, radiating a cold and merciless light. 0

The cicada's mouthparts moved up and down as if speaking. Suddenly, a voice clearly resonated in Eileen's mind, like an invisible wave of thought carrying immense authority and coldness. "Foolish one... always blind to the right path... you have witnessed miracles firsthand yet still believe it is blasphemy?" 0

Eileen stared in terror at the cicada before her, confusion and doubt swirling within her. "What is this? Is it communicating with me?" she thought frantically in her mind, trying to comprehend this sudden turn of events. 0

The cicada's voice echoed in her mind with an irresistible power, as if directly conversing with her consciousness. The voice was cold and commanding, imbued with an indescribable mysterious force. "You foolish creatures can never grasp true power and sacred existence. Your eyes are blinded by ignorance and fear, unable to see the true brilliance." 0

A chill spread from Eileen's spine throughout her body; her fingers trembled uncontrollably, unable to grasp anything tightly. She attempted to break free from the invisible restraints, but the force was too strong; her body remained firmly under control. 0

"I... I don't understand; what exactly are you?" Eileen questioned in her mind, her voice trembling with fear. Her consciousness became hazy under the weight of that voice, unable to focus or think clearly anymore. 0

The Cicada's Compound Eye coldly gazed at Erin, as if scrutinizing her soul. "I am an existence you cannot comprehend, the truth you fear. Your world is filled with lies and hypocrisy, and I am that true light." 0

Erin's heart was filled with confusion and fear, feeling her will gradually crumble under the weight of that voice. Her vision blurred, and her mind was flooded with countless chaotic thoughts. "This can't be... it's just an illusion..." 0

"This is not an illusion; this is reality." The Cicada's voice echoed in her mind again, imbued with immense authority and coldness. "You will witness true power and be guided toward that path of light. Accept your fate, submit to that great existence." 0

Endless fear and despair filled Erin's heart, but she knew she could not yield to this evil force. She concentrated all her willpower, trying to resist the invisible pressure. "No, I will not submit!" she shouted in her mind, using her last ounce of strength to break free from the intangible bonds. 0

The Cicada's voice grew even colder and more authoritative. "Foolish one, your resistance is meaningless. You will be guided toward that path of light, becoming a part of that great existence." 0

Erin shouted defiantly, "I won't... I will never! You seem completely wrong!" She retorted fiercely, her voice carrying a hint of unyielding courage amidst despair. Her words resonated in the eerie space, as if challenging that incomprehensible presence. 0

The Cicada erupted into a thunderous laugh, filled with mockery and derision, as if finding Erin's reaction utterly amusing. The sound was deafening, threatening to tear the very fabric of the space apart. 0

At that moment, a series of thumping sounds echoed from nearby, a cacophony as if countless footsteps were moving rapidly. Erin tried to turn her head to see, but her body was tightly controlled by the Cicada, rendering her immobile. She could only catch glimpses out of the corner of her eye to discern what was happening. 0

Before she knew it, wooden Cicadas began to gather in the air. These wooden creatures fluttered about, initially just a few but soon multiplying into hundreds and eventually thousands. The Wooden Cicadas soared through the air, forming a terrifying cloud that blocked out the light and cast an ominous shadow over the entire space. 0

Erin felt the Wooden Cicadas starting to land on her body; their small forms brought a chilling sensation as if countless tiny needles were pricking her skin. A wave of cold surged from her feet upwards, filling her heart with endless fear and helplessness. 0

The Wooden Cicadas crawled over her body, their cold and hard touch sending shivers down her spine. Their wooden footsteps traced across her skin, leaving countless tiny marks as if branding some kind of curse upon her flesh. 0
