Lowering her head, Guoguo did not notice, thinking that someone had joined the note-passing group, as the note replied, "Nonsense, of course it's Ouyang Qiming's."
"Tang—Guoguo! Not paying attention in class and passing notes with Han Min and Guo Jingjing, just wait and see how I deal with you!" The director of education ignored everyone else in class and glared at Guoguo, speaking sternly.
Guoguo seemed startled by the sudden shout from the director behind her. Turning to look at the director, who resembled a fierce tiger, she timidly said, "Director... why are you here?"
"Get out, you and you, stand outside!" The director pointed at Han Min and Guo Jingjing.
They were in History Class, and the History Teacher was new. It was not a good situation for the teacher to be caught by the director while students were passing notes in class.
Thus, under the mocking gazes of their classmates, the three walked out of the classroom and stood in a row outside in the hallway, heads lowered.
"Do you know what 'Golden Rooster Stands on One Leg' means?! Raise your right foot and don’t put it down until school is over at noon!" Truly deserving of the title Witch Principal, she had quite a knack for tormenting students.
The three were good kids and obediently raised one foot.
"If I catch you slacking off, you'll stand again this afternoon!" The director left that remark before turning to check other classrooms.
"Sharing blessings and facing difficulties together, hang in there, sisters!" Guoguo was a strong girl who would never give up until the last moment.
"Go ahead, I'll enjoy the blessings while you take on the difficulties." Han Min teased despite being punished to stand.
"Min, how long do we have to stand? I'm so tired already." Just a little while later, Guo Jingjing was already feeling exhausted.
"Three more periods, and we won't have to stand anymore after school at noon," Han Min counted on her fingers.
"Guoguo, it's all your fault for passing notes in class that got us punished," Guo Jingjing said with tears in her eyes, complaining.
"You passed notes too, so you can't blame me," Guoguo pouted, seemingly angered by Guo Jingjing's words.
"It's worth standing for Ouyang Senior, but it's not worth damaging our friendship over him," Han Min sensed a faint tension between the two.
"Yes, Min is right. Our friendship is more precious than Ouyang Senior," with Han Min's mediation, Guoguo and Guo Jingjing's friendship was once again solidified.
