Ouyang Qiming leaned against the second-floor corridor to catch his breath after class and inadvertently saw Guoguo and Guo Jingjing on the track, along with Han Min cheering them on from the side.
He learned from a junior in Class One, Grade Ten on the third floor that the three had fallen asleep during the political class taught by the head of the department and were punished to run ten laps.
Watching Guoguo on the track, drenched in sweat with cracked lips, Ouyang Qiming felt an inexplicable pang of sympathy.

Various discussions revolve around Guoguo and the other two.
Guoguo and Guo Jingjing have already run five laps, with five more to go.
The class bell rings, but Guoguo and Guo Jingjing have not finished yet, so Han Min heads back to the classroom for class.
If they skip class and are seen by the director, she will probably have them run ten more laps.
On the empty playground track, only Guoguo and Guo Jingjing are left running weakly.
Ouyang Qiming is in the classroom listening to the Language Teacher's lecture, but he is somewhat distracted, occasionally glancing out the window to see if Guoguo has finished.
In Class One, Grade Ten, Han Min is also distracted, silently cheering for Guoguo and Jingjing in her heart.
