While asking, Han Min surveyed the room, which was both spacious and luxurious.
Han Min thought that staying in this room for a night must cost quite a bit.
"I don't know. When I woke up, the surgery was already done, and I was lying in the hospital bed," Guoguo said, unsure of who had brought her to the hospital. "The person who brought me here should be from our school. He paid for the nurse's fees and the hospital stay."
Although she had an answer in mind, she wasn't sure if that person was him.
"Since it's all paid for, you might as well stay," Guo Jingjing said, wiping the tears from her cheeks as she spoke to Guoguo.
"When will you be discharged? We'll come to pick you up then," Han Min said, placing the packed Century Egg Congee on the bedside table. She opened the bag, lifted the plastic lid, put a spoon into the bowl, and handed the Century Egg Congee to Guoguo. "You haven't had breakfast yet, right? I bought Century Egg Congee for you. Eat it while it's hot."
"If everything goes well, I should be discharged next Wednesday." Guoguo had mentioned it casually during a heart-to-heart talk in the dormitory the night before school started, not expecting Han Min to remember. Tears welled up in her eyes again as her hand trembled with excitement while holding the bowl; some of the Century Egg Congee almost spilled out. "I only mentioned it casually; I didn't think you would remember."
"As long as it's something Guoguo likes, I remember it all," Han Min said with a hearty laugh.
"Min, you remember Guoguo's preferences; what about mine? Do you remember what I like?" Guo Jingjing asked, her tone carrying a hint of envy and anticipation.
"I remember your preferences too, Jingjing. You like beautiful things, enjoy wearing dresses, and love strawberry-flavored ice cream. Am I right?" The loyal Han Min remembered all her friends' likes and birthdays. "Also, Guoguo's birthday is June 10th, and yours is July 10th."
Guoguo mumbled softly to herself, wondering what date it was today. Was it really after that?
After hearing Han Min speak, Guo Jingjing became excited and planted a kiss on Han Min's fair cheek. Han Min's face instantly turned bright red as she jokingly said, "Guo Jingjing, is this considered seduction? If I were a guy, I'd definitely take advantage of you."
"Hey hey... If you were a guy, I wouldn't kiss you." Guo Jingjing grinned mischievously and said, "Even if you were a guy, the only person I would kiss is Ouyang Senior."
