"Ouyang Senior is mine, and I won't allow you to kiss him." With that, Han Min feigned anger and swung a punch at Guo Jingjing. "Take this!"
Guo Jingjing knew that Han Min had practiced Taekwondo for three years and let out a scream as she turned to run.
"Stop, don't run!" Han Min shouted, raising her fist and chasing after Guo Jingjing around the room.
Guoguo, sipping on Century Egg Congee, watched the two playfully fight and felt quite happy.
"This is a hospital; please keep it down," a Nurse passing by the ward heard the commotion and stood at the door glaring at the two, one fleeing and the other shouting 'help' and 'stop running.'
Hearing the warning, Han Min finally stopped, and Guo Jingjing finally had a moment to catch her breath.
Guoguo finished his Century Egg Congee during the playful antics of Han Min and Guo Jingjing.
Seeing that the two had calmed down, the Nurse turned and left.
At noon, the sun hung like a blazing furnace in the clear blue sky, radiating intense heat.
Han Min and Guo Jingjing took a half-day off. Although they were reluctant to leave Guoguo, wanting to spend more time with him, they still had classes in the afternoon.
"Guoguo, we'll come to see you again on Saturday. If you feel bored, you can call me or Min. Take good care of yourself; you have injuries, so avoid spicy food..." Guo Jingjing nagged on and on, making Guoguo feel like he wanted to hang himself with a noodle.
"Jingjing, when did you become so chatty like Min? I'll buy you some Calming Oral Solution, okay?"
"Guoguo, I'm only 15 years old. How can you buy me Calming Oral Solution?!" Guo Jingjing rubbed her eyes, looking like she was about to cry.
"Guoguo, what do you want to eat? When Jingjing and I come to see you later, we'll buy it for you." Guoguo is too thin, and Han Min feels heartbroken just looking at her.
"I'm feeling hot. Can you buy me a cup of Grass Jelly when you come?" Guoguo knows that Han Min and Guo Jingjing's family isn't wealthy either. She wants to eat KFC fried chicken legs and burgers but doesn't dare to ask for them. However, she really does want the Grass Jelly.
"Okay, got it. Jingjing and I will come back to see you later," Han Min said as she and Guo Jingjing smiled and walked out of the room, closing the door behind them.
Walking side by side in the hallway, Guo Jingjing suddenly said, "Min, didn't Guoguo's birthday just pass on June 10th? It seems like it wasn't later; it should be the day after."
Han Min counted on her fingers and suddenly realized, "This Thursday is June 10th; you're right, it's the day after."
