The man who had been beaten was already bruised and battered. Struggling to stand up, he thanked Murong Xiuxian and ran away.
"You pathetic man, you don't deserve to be Her Father." Murong Xiuxian coldly shouted at the man's disheveled back.
The man stopped for a moment, stunned, then continued to stumble away, getting further and further while mumbling, "I may not know if you are my daughter, but I truly do not deserve to be Her Father."
