"Anyway, someone has paid for your meals this semester, but I can't tell you who," Cook said with a hint of apology in his tone.
"Well, at least you can tell me if that person is male or female, right?" Guoguo replied, feeling frustrated about someone secretly helping him during this time.
"I can tell you that. He's a very handsome guy," Cook recalled, then added, "Make sure to eat well. I have to get back to work now."
As Cook walked away, Han Min and Guo Jingjing approached with Meals in hand.
Guoguo spread his hands in frustration and said, "I don't know who paid for my meals this semester."

After dinner, since he didn't have evening study sessions, Guoguo took a shower and changed clothes before stepping out of the dormitory and closing the door behind him. He walked along the campus path and exited Vidorna Academy.
Having not found a job yesterday, he continued to search diligently today. Guoguo believed that as long as he remained persistent, there would always be job opportunities.
As night fell, Guoguo walked down the street lined with lavishly decorated shops.
Every time he passed a store, he would check to see if there were any job postings or recruitment notices.
Since he had no money on him, Guoguo was walking on foot when he noticed a Bakery that was hiring sales staff. Gathering his courage, he pushed the door open and stepped inside.
Reaching the counter, he saw only one person in the shop—a rather handsome young man around twenty years old. Guoguo smiled politely at him and said, "Hello, I would like to apply for the sales position at your store."
The tall boy with star-like black eyes looked up and down at Guoguo, then his gaze landed on her face. The first thing he said was, "You... aren't yet eighteen, are you?"
Guoguo nodded and replied honestly, "I haven't turned 18 yet; I'm 16 years old this year."
After her birthday, Guoguo had aged a year and was now already 16.
"Which school do you attend?" the boy continued to ask, his tone calm.
Guoguo answered, "Vidorna Academy."
"That's an elite school. Why are you looking for a job?" The boy found it strange, but seeing Guoguo's attire didn't seem like that of a wealthy child. "I see, you got in through the entrance exam."
