"A Hu, come with me!"
Shen Yuan quickly checked the other rooms and ultimately confirmed that everyone in the orphanage, except for Chi Qinghua, was dead—none left.
He carried Chi Qinghua into a room, which was Chi Qinghua's own dormitory.
A Hu followed, dragging the corpse of a Mutant Mouse.
Shen Yuan closed the door and then moved a double bed to block it.
The orphanage was actually quite large, having housed fifty or sixty orphans at its peak. Source of Life, that term mentioned in the information that had entered his mind when he picked up the Tactical Dagger echoed once again.

He chose not to activate.
Clearly, after continuously killing several Mutant Mice, he had absorbed enough Source of Life to activate the metal products.
Every time he kills a Mutant Mouse and captures the Source of Life, the Shovel becomes sharper. However, if he goes too long without capturing the Source of Life, the Shovel will become dull, like when he moved from the Red Sister's house to the orphanage.
So, does this Source of Life gradually diminish over time?
After A Hu consumed Mutated Rat Meat and blood, his spirit recovered and his wounds stopped bleeding, somewhat similar to the effect of absorbing heat flow.
So, A Hu absorbs the Source of Life through his diet, while he can absorb it directly through his left hand?
What exactly has happened to his left hand?
He raised his left hand and observed closely, noticing that under the light, the skin on his palm had a slight metallic sheen.
Just a little, not much; in fact, if one didn't look closely, it would be completely unnoticeable.

After so many intense battles, gripping the Shovel with all his strength, his right hand had split open and bled, yet his left hand showed no signs of injury at all.
