At that moment, a Jetta was parked by the door when suddenly the owner saw a silver BMW Sports Car speeding towards Wei Yuan from behind. He quickly got out of the car and shouted, "Young man, you better get out of the way! Do you want to get hit?"
When Wei Yuan heard this and turned around, the BMW Sports Car was already less than three meters away from him. Just as he was about to jump aside, he realized he couldn't move his legs!
What had seemed like a significant distance suddenly closed in on him. The BMW naturally crashed past him, sending Wei Yuan's body flying three stories high. He spun through the air like willow fluff before falling into the nearby Luoxia Lake.
The young man sitting in the BMW remained unfazed by the scene. After a calm glance, he took a large swig from a bottle of liquor beside him to steady himself and then pressed the gas pedal to flee the scene.
"Hit someone and still want to run? Are you even human?" the middle-aged man in the Jetta cursed angrily as he floored the accelerator, preparing to chase after him.
The other middle-aged man sitting next to him tapped his head and scolded, "Do you think you're Jackie Chan or Schumacher? You think a lousy Jetta can catch up to a BMW?"
After hearing his friend's mockery, the man cursed back, "Stop talking nonsense and get out to save him!"
The two parked their car by the roadside and ran over to Luoxia Lake. The person who had been in the Jetta sighed and said, "Chen Kun, there's no need to search anymore. At that speed, with someone flying so high, even if we pull him out, he won't survive!"
Chen Kun, the middle-aged man, retorted angrily, "Shut up! Are you even human? At a time like this, saying such things is pointless. I'm going into the water to look for him; you hurry and find someone to help! Stop wasting time!"
At that moment, Wei Yuan, still submerged at the bottom of the lake, suddenly heard the clear voices of two people nearby. He felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude towards the middle-aged man who was doing his best to rescue him.

At that moment, it seemed as though even the surrounding water had been pushed aside. In that Silver Gray Mist-like Space at the bottom of the lake, Wei Yuan's body was positioned in the center while Silver-gray Mist began to surge into his mind.
Meanwhile, the injuries from being struck by the BMW Sports Car were slowly disappearing, but then Wei Yuan's brain started to feel pain again.
He felt as if his brain was being torn apart, and then those misty substances surged into his mind like the technique used to make soup dumplings. Finally, after all the Silver-gray Mist was absorbed by his brain, unable to withstand the pain, Wei Yuan fainted once again.
The middle-aged man named Chen Kun was a good swimmer. After holding his breath at the bottom of the lake for several minutes, he finally found Wei Yuan. However, it was not easy for him to drag him out of the water alone.
When he surfaced, his friend had already found someone to help, and that person happened to be Wei Yuan's Cousin. His home was the closest to Luoxia Lake. When he heard someone describe a twenty-year-old boy who had fallen into Luoxia Lake, the first person he thought of was his nephew.
Of course, whether or not it was his nephew, he had to go rescue him at that moment. After grabbing some tools that might be useful, Xie Ge quickly followed the man to Luoxia Lake.
"Hurry up! If we wait any longer, we'll have to send him straight to the crematorium!"
Upon hearing this, Chen Kun turned around and glared at his friend. Then he took the rope that Xie Ge handed him, wrapped it around his waist, and sank back into the water. After rescuing Wei Yuan, Chen Kun checked his heartbeat and breathing with his hand and found them both normal. Only then did he feel relieved. He then pressed down hard on Wei Yuan's chest, preparing to expel any water he might have inhaled while submerged. However, he discovered that it seemed Wei Yuan hadn't swallowed any water at all while at the bottom of the lake.
The person with a morbid curiosity asked in shock, "Chen Kun, is this kid even alive or dead?"
Chen Kun was also taken aback. He had been focused on saving him earlier but now found it strange. The BMW Sports Car that knocked down Wei Yuan must have been going at least one hundred fifty kilometers per hour. Yet at this moment, Wei Yuan had no visible injuries!
Moreover, he had been submerged for over ten minutes; logically speaking, he should have drowned by now. Yet here he was completely unharmed as if nothing had happened at all, which left everyone baffled!
However, being safe and sound was ultimately a cause for celebration. The three of them carried Wei Yuan back to Xie Ge's house and enjoyed a hearty lunch at Xie Ge's enthusiastic invitation. By the time Wei Yuan woke up, it was already past five in the afternoon.
The first person Wei Yuan saw when he opened his eyes was his Cousin Xie Ge. "Uncle, how did I end up here?"
Although Wei Yuan could clearly hear Chen Kun and the other person's conversation while underwater, he had completely fainted after Chen Kun went into the water and thus did not know they had called for Xie Ge's help.

He jumped up, moved his waist a bit to prove to Xie Ge that he was in good shape.
