The coachman of the Liu Residence was indeed very diligent.
After he dropped off Qing Wu, he noticed Dou Mama was holding Qing Wu as if she couldn't free her hands, so he didn't leave immediately. Without waiting for Qing Wu to speak, he helped knock on the doorbell of Zheng Ning's residence.
Qing Wu felt a pang of anxiety in her heart.
She secretly pondered that if no one inside responded and the coachman kindly intended to take her back to the Liu Family, she would need to think of an excuse to get off midway.

Qing Wu initially thought the person coming out would be the old steward of the place. To her surprise, when the door opened, it was Zheng Ning standing there.
At that moment, he had a wine jug clamped between his teeth, one hand holding the door open while the other was tucked into his clothing. Since he wasn't wearing a belt and was only draped in a thin outer garment over his inner shirt, both garments hung askew on him, revealing large areas of fair skin and collarbone.

However, Dou Mama, who was born and raised here, reacted differently.
Upon seeing this, she immediately turned her back to shield Qing Wu and said with some anger, "Zheng Young Master, what is the meaning of this? Do you look down on our young lady just because she is still young and think you can treat her frivolously?"
Zheng Ning released the door and slowly raised his hand to hold the wine jug. With a lazy smile, he finally spoke, "Does Madam think I would let a frivolous person be my lady's teacher?"
Shaking the wine bottle, he took another sip. "Even if it's just nominally."
Hearing this, Dou Mama's expression improved significantly. Upon reflection, she realized that Zheng Ning had only come to answer the door and did not know that it was Qing Wu who had arrived.
So she apologized, "I was too hasty. I hope Zheng Young Master will not hold it against me."
However, she still turned her back, not allowing Qing Wu to see Zheng Ning.
Zheng Ning thought of the girl's clear eyes, coughed lightly into his hand, and set the wine jug down on the ground by the door. With a flourish of his hands, he tied the inner and outer clothing belts and asked, "What brings you here today, Qing Wu? I remember it’s not yet time."
Dou Mama was about to answer when Qing Wu tugged at her sleeve, indicating that she needed help and would handle it herself.
Seeing that Zheng Ning had already tied his clothes properly, Dou Mama turned back and let Qing Wu explain the situation to Zheng Ning.
Although Qing Wu spoke only a few words, Zheng Ning understood.
He looked at Qing Wu with an inexplicable expression and fell silent for a moment. Then he led the two of them toward the place in the manor where the carriage was parked.
"I have some matters to attend to at home, so I took half a day off. It’s fortunate that you arrived just now. Since there’s no one else here, I can only open the door myself," Zheng Ning explained while checking the carriage. He added, "The Luo Residence is still a bit far from here; I’ll drive you there."
Qing Wu didn’t expect him to know how to do this, staring at him intently.
Zheng Ning laughed heartily. After confirming that the carriage was in decent condition, he said, "You all get in first," and then waved his sleeves as he left. Before long, he returned wearing a thick gray fur cloak.
Although Doctor Luo and Zheng Ning were not familiar with each other, their residences were not too far apart, so Zheng Ning still knew the location of Luo Residence.
Upon arriving at their destination, he parked the carriage outside. He gestured to Qing Wu to call him once she was ready and then climbed into the carriage to catch up on some sleep.
The doorman at Luo Residence did not recognize Dou Mama but remembered Qing Wu. The last time Qing Wu visited, Doctor Luo had shown great respect for the young man holding her. This time, the doorman was much more courteous upon seeing them.
However, when Dou Mama stood up to indicate their purpose, the doorman looked troubled.
The reason was simple: Doctor Luo was currently not in the residence.
"Not at the residence? Where has he gone?"
"Today, the master is on duty and has already gone to the palace."
Qing Wu was just about to ask the Doorman if Yue Ying was around when a burst of clear laughter rang out not far away.

It was Yue Ying.
She was holding a Medicine Box and dressed in outdoor attire, clearly planning to go out.

Qing Wu looked at Yue Ying's Medicine Box, knowing she might have her own matters to attend to, but thinking of the situation at home, hesitated before speaking up, "I wonder if Sister Yue has time to take a look at him?"
The girl appeared anxious, and her voice trembled slightly as she spoke.
Yue Ying understood that Brother San's condition might indeed be somewhat serious.
"Don't panic. Tell me, what exactly is your brother's condition? Is there anything unusual?"
Qing Wu was unaware that she could not see Liu Anfeng, but Dou Mama had heard some news and roughly informed Yue Ying.

Yue Ying glanced again at Zheng Ning's carriage.
The two families were not too far apart, and she knew of this person.
As for the young man who had brought Qing Wu over last time, he clearly held a noble status; even the master treated him with great respect. It seemed his identity was not something to be casually revealed.
In this capital city, there were countless high-ranking officials and nobles. Some of them preferred not to expose their identities casually.
Thus, Yue Ying nodded knowingly, pointed at the carriage, and asked Dou Mama, "Is that Zheng Ning? I understand." Then she said to Qing Wu, "Isn't the gentleman waiting to teach you? If so, you should go study. I will take care of your brother's matters."

She thought if it were because of Qin Shuying, she feared Liu Fangyi might be familiar with Qin Shuying. It seemed that with her going over, Liu Anfeng's condition could be successfully treated.
Now that the major issue in her heart has been resolved, Qing Wu finally feels a weight lifted off her shoulders. When she returned to the car, there was a hint of a smile on her face.
Zheng Ning sat back in the front seat and turned to glance at Qing Wu's improved complexion. After hesitating for a moment, he finally said, "You've been so worried about your brother that you haven't thought about the others, have you?"
"The others?" Qing Wu asked, confused. "Who?"
"The teacher who gives you lessons."
Upon hearing Zheng Ning's words, Qing Wu felt a chill in her heart.
Zheng Ning knew who was teaching Qing Wu. If that was the case, then it meant something had happened to Huo Yun'ai.
"What happened to him?" Qing Wu hurriedly asked.
Zheng Ning leaned against the car wall, casually waving the riding whip, and remained silent for a while. After a long pause, he seemed to gather his resolve and said, "He caught a chill yesterday for some reason and started running a fever after returning home. I suppose Doctor Luo went over for this reason."
