The rain kept pouring down, and they couldn't find a place to take shelter along the way. Everyone was soaked to the skin.

This hit her soft spot, and Green Qi instantly exploded. "What do you know? I'm just afraid Jiang Chengmu will misunderstand!"
"You two are just a couple in name only anyway. Since you've already been wearing the green hat, why not get a divorce?"
"Absolutely not!" As soon as she finished speaking, she hurriedly rejected the idea.
Aside from repaying kindness, even for the sake of her father's company, she would never divorce Jiang Chengmu.
Mu Tongzi noticed that she seemed to be hiding something; he didn't miss the fleeting pain in her eyes when she spoke just now.

"Mr. Mu is overthinking!" Green Qi replied coldly.
Mu Tongzi's face instantly turned dark. He had never encountered a woman like this before; she could have demanded compensation but instead had no requests at all. If it were any other woman, she would have seized the opportunity to curry favor with him long ago.
He frowned slightly. "Then I'll respect your wishes, but you'd better not come asking me for favors in the future!"
The proud tone made Green Qi clench her fists; she would not beg him!
