Raising an eyebrow slightly, Gu Lvq Qi glanced at the man standing in front of her. The clothes she had casually grabbed that morning surprisingly resembled his outfit, almost like a couple's matching attire. Taking a deep breath to suppress her embarrassment, she walked into the Exhibition Hall, pretending not to see him.
She scanned the promotional posters in the hall and was momentarily taken aback when she saw a man nearby looking at one of the posters. Finally, she sweetly called out, "Mu Bai Gege!"
"Green Qi!" Hearing the voice, Mu Yubai turned around, his face lighting up as he looked at his rarely seen good friend and little sister. He reached out and pulled her into his embrace, smiling as he asked, "What brings you here this time?"
"If it were so far away abroad, I could understand, but since it's domestically, not coming would be too disrespectful to Su Jimo!" She chuckled lightly, rubbing her head against Mu Yubai's chest. "What about you? Why are you here?"
"I just wanted to come back and see you! Don't you miss me?" Mu Yubai looked at her with a hint of sorrow in his eyes, resembling a puppy abandoned by its owner.
Gu Lvq Qi was astonished. Although she had always known that Mu Yubai's expressions had been unpredictable since childhood, it was surprising that he hadn't changed at all despite growing up.
She genuinely liked Mu Yubai, the neighbor who had played with her since they were young. No matter what mistakes she made, he never held it against her and always stood up for her. His presence had warmed her life significantly.
"Of course I miss you!" She nodded vigorously and linked her arm with his. "Let's go inside and take a look. Does Su Jimo know you're here?"
"He knows!"
As she turned around, Green Qi glanced toward the entrance of the Exhibition Hall. Two figures stood quietly there; Mu Tongzi's sharp gaze was directed this way, and even in the heat of midday, his cold stare felt chilling.
"President, Madam Mu is already waiting for you inside," Xia Yu said respectfully.
"Let's go!"
Mu Tongzi frowned slightly but walked in without changing his expression.
This time, the Art Exhibition attracted many participants, with numerous celebrities from the industry appearing in the Exhibition Hall. The entire Exhibition Hall was filled with top figures from the art world and professional buyers, not to mention the media reporters present, creating a lively atmosphere.
As soon as Green Qi and Mu Yubai entered, many media outlets rushed to take their pictures. Mu Yubai is a renowned painter both domestically and internationally, and his presence inevitably drew attention.
Mu Yubai had long been accustomed to such glamorous occasions. He graciously posed for the media while occasionally glancing at the smiling Green Qi, a subtle smile creeping across his brow.
The group led by Mu Tongzi, who arrived later, paused in their steps due to the commotion.
Madam Mu spotted Mu Tongzi and walked over to him. Following his gaze, she looked toward the crowd and quickly recognized the figure surrounded by reporters. Turning back in surprise, she asked, "Since when did you become interested in painters?"
Mu Tongzi turned to see Madam Mu and chuckled lightly. "I wanted to get to know him to share your interests. Mom, do you know who he is?"
He was certainly not interested in the painter; rather, he was intrigued by the woman accompanying him.
"That's the famous painter Mu Yubai, how could I not know?" She had always enjoyed collecting calligraphy and paintings and was well aware of renowned artists.
