A strange feeling invaded his mind, and he felt a bit flustered. His hand, which had just reached her cheek, suddenly froze and ultimately withdrew.

Leaning over, he was about to pick her up and carry her to bed when her tightly shut eyes suddenly opened. His handsome face stopped just a few centimeters from her nose.

Looking at the enlarged face in front of her, Green Qi calmly blinked and took a while to regain her senses. She sat up straight and pushed the man in front of her away, her expression turning cold. "What do you want?"
"I don't want anything!" Jiang Chengmu awkwardly sat back down, lowering his head and avoiding her gaze.
"Then why did you come up here?" She shot him a glare, raised her hand, and threw the Teddy Bear she was holding at him before getting up to tidy her hair in front of the vanity mirror.
Holding the Teddy Bear she had thrown at him, he found it hard to let go as it still retained a hint of warmth and a faint fragrance. He just stood there leaning against the door with it in his arms.
"Wife, actually living like this isn't so bad. What do you think?"
"..." Suddenly turning her head, Green Qi glared at the figure leaning against the door. "Are you trying to go back on your word? We signed an Agreement."
"The Agreement only pertains to the shares I hold in Wind Dust Group; I never agreed to a divorce."
"What's wrong? Do you still want to back out?"
"Even if we are getting a divorce, we should wait until this half a year is over before discussing it!"
I never thought I would be so stubborn, especially regarding something as serious as divorce. Just thinking about it makes me feel embarrassed!
With a light snort, Jiang Chengmu suddenly pulled her into his arms, his handsome face darkening. "Wife, stop thinking about divorce. Otherwise, you will have a very painful time during the remaining half a year!"
"It doesn't matter; I'm not the only one who will suffer," she replied with a light laugh, successfully noticing Jiang Chengmu's cold expression.
Just that one sentence successfully angered Jiang Chengmu.
The atmosphere at the dining table was relatively harmonious, but once they left the house and got into the car, his expression changed immediately. The car sped towards the Green Qi apartment at almost racing speed.
Throughout the journey, neither of them spoke, and the atmosphere dropped to freezing point!
As soon as she got out of the car, it drove away behind her.
With a sigh, she watched the car disappear into the night before turning to walk towards the apartment entrance.
After a restless night, early the next morning, she looked at herself in the mirror with dark circles under her eyes and felt frustrated and powerless as she applied makeup to cover them up.
Once she finished her makeup and looked less haggard, she finally prepared to head out for work.
After finally getting through the morning meeting and consolidating the meeting materials and design drafts, her phone rang. She glanced at the caller ID and saw it was Yin Xiyin calling, so she quickly answered, "Where are you? Are you back?"
"I'm back, I'm back! I'm exhausted to death, hurry up and come pick me up at the airport!"
"Wait for me, I'll be there soon!" After grabbing the car keys from IKEA, she took a leave of absence and hurried to the elevator.
It had been a few months since she last saw Yin Xiyin, and she really missed her. As soon as she stepped into the terminal, a light blue figure rushed towards her.
"Darling, I've missed you so much!" Tilting her head, Green Qi paused for a moment before chuckling lightly, "I missed you too! Come on, let me take a good look at you!"
