Walking to the rest area under the Sunshade, Green Qi looked at a group of young and affluent gentlemen, politely nodding. Although he didn't know them, smiling and greeting wouldn't hurt.
Kang Yiming seemed to navigate this circle with ease. It was only when they met that he realized he was the grandson of the elder from the Tan Family, one of the three prominent families in the capital. When they saw him approaching, one by one, they greeted him.
"Kang Shao, Mu Shao is here too. Let's go say hello later," said the leading man among the young gentlemen, glancing at him and pointing to a figure sitting not far away under the Sunshade.
"Mu Shao is back?" Kang Yiming seemed a bit surprised as he looked over at the figures sitting in the distance. "Then you all enjoy yourselves; we'll go over to greet them."
Saying this, he led Yin Xiyin away. Considering that Green Qi had injured her hand, Yin Xiyin slowed down her pace to accompany her. From a distance, they saw the figure sitting on the chair, and Kang Yiming waved his hand. "Mu Shao!"
Hearing the voice, the man who was chatting with friends slowly turned his head. The sunglasses obscured most of his handsome face. When he saw the figures approaching, his smile momentarily stiffened but quickly returned to normal as he elegantly stood up from his chair and walked over at a leisurely pace.
"Mu Shao, what a coincidence!" Seeing her idol was someone she recognized, Yin Xiyin's face lit up with excitement.
However, standing beside her, Green Qi felt a sense of despair; this world was indeed small—how could they run into him everywhere? Moreover, judging by Kang Yiming's demeanor, their relationship was clearly not unfamiliar!
Mu Tongzi glanced at Yin Xiyin and casually greeted her, "Miss Yin, what a coincidence!" He then turned to Kang Yiming beside her and smiled, "Kang Shao, long time no see."

"I just happened to be home for a few days." As he said this, his gaze fell on the figure hiding behind Yin Xiyin, and his dark eyes deepened slightly.
Kang Yiming chuckled as he looked at Yin Xiyin. "Since you know Mu Shao, I won't introduce him. Mu Shao and I used to live in the same courtyard; we were childhood friends. Later they moved away, so we lost contact. Especially in recent years when he went to City A, we had even fewer chances to meet. But now I'm also planning to go to City A; we can see each other more often!"
As he was speaking, he suddenly remembered the person beside him who had been overlooked and quickly looked at Green Qi. "Mu Shao, this is Xi Yin's best friend, Green Qi..."
Before he could finish his sentence, Mu Tongzi spoke calmly: "Miss Gu."
This seemingly emotionless "Miss Gu" surprised Green Qi a bit. She stiffly raised her head with a forced smile and ultimately maintained her composure as she respectfully replied, "President!"
The mention of "President" piqued Kang Yiming's interest and successfully made Mu Tongzi furrow his brows.
"Oh! Mu Shao, you two know each other?" Kang Yiming leaned in curiously. Not getting an answer from Green Qi's face, he eventually turned his gaze back to Mu Tongzi.
"Miss Gu is an employee of the gk subsidiary of Mu Group. I am her direct superior, understood?"
"Oh, I see!" Realizing how they knew each other, Kang Yiming dropped his curiosity. Suddenly noticing a woman approaching from the side, he paused slightly and turned to the expressionless man. "Miss Yue is back?"
