Fu Tianming may have had a change of heart. The divorce procedures were finally completed. Han Zheng suddenly disappeared. He appeared in my life just as suddenly as he vanished. I felt a bit upset. But time will heal everything. I soon put that brief intersection behind me. My studio opened, and to my surprise, business was thriving. I was so busy that I hardly had time to think about Han Zheng. Only occasionally, when I returned home and saw the door that Han Zheng had not reopened, I would feel a moment of daze. But quickly, I pushed that thought aside.
Until one day, when I got off work and returned home. As soon as I opened the door, I saw someone wearing an apron, carrying something on their shoulder, smiling at me. I was startled and focused my gaze; it was Han Zheng. The thing on his shoulder was Qiuqiu. I looked at him in disbelief.
“Han Zheng, you... what are you doing here?”
Han Zheng smiled and said, “I’m back.”
I stared at Han Zheng, speechless for a long time. Han Zheng set down Qiuqiu and walked up to me, smiling, “Why aren’t you saying anything?”
I took a deep breath before finding my voice. “Didn’t you leave?”
“Why did you come back?”
Han Zheng replied, “I did leave.”
“But now I’m back.”
I continued to stare at Han Zheng, unable to speak for a while.
“Did you miss me? I missed you!” he said as he reached for my hand.
“I was taken back by my father,” Han Zheng explained. “He’s not well and wants me to return to inherit the family business.”
"He still wants me to enter into a marriage alliance."
"I don't want to, so he locked me at home and wouldn't let me go out."
"It wasn't until my game became a huge success and I made a fortune that my father compromised and let me continue with my own career."
Hearing this, I couldn't help but feel a bit moved.
Han Zheng looked at me seriously and said, "Nuan Nuan, I'm sorry."
"I shouldn't have disappeared suddenly and made you sad."
"I knew when you were feeling down."
"I watched you every day in my heart."
"I saw you busy every day, but when you stopped, your mind wandered."
"I noticed you often staring blankly at my door."
"I saw you being entangled by your ex-husband."
"I worried every day that you would remarry him or be taken away by another man."
"I was tormented every day."
"Fortunately, you didn't."
"Fortunately, you've always been mine."
I felt very touched by his words, but I replied, "How do you know I haven't been with someone else?"
Han Zheng smiled and said, "I don't know."
"But I believe you wouldn't."
"Because you love me too."
"I can feel it."
I snorted, "Stop being so full of yourself."
"Who loves you?"
"I'm not going to fall for you."
Han Zheng laughed and said, "Oh really?"
"Then I guess I have to keep trying."
I scoffed, "Trying won't help."
"I don't like you anymore."
Han Zheng chuckled and said, "Like or dislike isn't determined by words."
"It's determined by actions."
I shot him a glare and said, "Don't just talk the talk."
"Now tell me, what do you want to eat today?"
Han Zheng said, "I want to eat beef stew in red wine."
"Okay," I nodded in agreement.
"Wait for me, I'll make it for you."
Beef stew in red wine is my specialty.
An hour later, the beef stew was ready.
Han Zheng brought over a few bottles of red wine.
I was surprised and said, "Why did you bring so many?"
Han Zheng smiled and said, "Today is a happy day; we should drink to our heart's content."
I nodded, "Alright, we won't stop until we're drunk."
We both drank a lot of wine.
I talked a lot.
I almost excitedly jumped onto the table.
But Han Zheng just held me up, responding to everything I said.
When I woke up the next day, I felt dizzy.
I wanted to go to the bathroom.
At that moment, the bathroom door opened.
Han Zheng walked out from inside.
He was only wrapped in a towel.
His muscles were firm, and water was still dripping from him.
I couldn't help but feel puzzled.
This guy stays up late every day yet maintains such a good figure.
It's really enviable.
Suddenly, Han Zheng stood by the window, looking down at me from above.
He pulled open the towel with one hand, his expression a bit mischievous.
I was startled and shrank back a little.
"What... what do you want to do?"
He said, "To do you."
When I woke up again, my body felt sore beyond belief.
I couldn't help but let out a soft groan; when I opened my eyes, I found myself staring at a handsome face.
Han Zheng had striking features—deep-set eyes, a high nose bridge, and slightly red thin lips.
He smirked at me with a hint of playfulness: "You're awake?"
Pressed beneath him, I struggled to breathe. "You should get off first."
He chuckled softly, his hands becoming increasingly mischievous.
I tried to push him away, but my weak arms lacked the strength.
"Don't make a fuss, just be obedient."
He leaned down and lightly pecked my lips, treating me like a disobedient puppy.
"Don't do this."
I turned my head away to avoid his kiss.
"Is being with me really that difficult for you?"
There was a hint of frustration in his tone.
I simply closed my eyes, refusing to look at him.
"You have no feelings for me; why give me the wrong impression?"
He pinched my chin, forcing me to meet his gaze.
"Tell me, who is stronger, me or Fu Tianming?"
I was at a loss for how to answer that question.
Seeing that I remained silent, he began a series of actions that were hard to articulate.
I couldn't help but plead for mercy.
But he persisted, "Answer me."
I broke down and said, "I won't get back together with Fu Tianming."
Finally, he smiled in satisfaction.
Once again, he did as he pleased with me.
I lost all consciousness.
