The roar of the airplane gradually faded into the azure night sky, leaving behind the vast, boundless desert illuminated by the bright, clear moon. Jack and I stood side by side at the exit of Cairo Airport, everything before us felt both unfamiliar and enticing. A glance exchanged between us revealed the determination and a hint of barely perceptible tension in each other's eyes. 0

The Navigator in my hand glimmered with an unusual brightness in the tranquil night. "Jack, the scattering of Time Fragments has already affected the real world; we must find them as soon as possible." 0

The rented SUV sped through the desert, its wheels kicking up clouds of yellow sand as we raced toward the ancient Egyptian ruins along the banks of the Nile. The glowing points on the Navigator guided our direction, marking the location of the Sun Fragment, which was our first destination. 0

As our speed increased, so did my heartbeat. 0

When the majestic silhouette of the ancient Egyptian ruins finally came into view, an indescribable shock surged within me. We stood before a massive stone door covered in Hieroglyphics, which should have been key clues leading to the Sun Fragment. However, these Hieroglyphics seemed distorted by some force; they danced across the stone door, changing forms and making interpretation exceptionally difficult. 0

I took a deep breath, focused my mind, and tried to find patterns among the twisted Hieroglyphics. I observed each Hieroglyph closely; although they were moving, they seemed to follow a specific order. I recalled my studies of ancient Egyptian texts in the lab and my understanding of their language. I noticed that despite their movement, they would temporarily pause at certain points, forming brief stable states. 0

"Jack, look at these characters; although they're moving, they return to a specific form after a while," I pointed to the Hieroglyphics on the door, trying to draw Jack's attention to this detail. 0

Jack moved closer, his eyes fixed on the changing Hieroglyphics. Then he suddenly said, "Wait a minute; are these characters mimicking the sun's trajectory?" 0

A spark ignited in my mind; Jack's observation was correct. The dynamic changes in these Hieroglyphics were actually simulating the sun's path throughout a day. Each time they returned to their starting point, they formed a complete sentence. 0

"We need to record these characters' forms every time they pause and interpret them according to the sun's trajectory throughout the day," I told Jack. 0

We began recording; whenever the Hieroglyphics returned to their starting point, we quickly sketched their forms. After some time observing and recording, we obtained a series of Hieroglyphic shapes. Then we connected these shapes in order from sunrise in the east to sunset in the west. 0

Eventually, we deciphered a complete ancient Egyptian sentence that contained instructions on how to open this great door. According to this text's guidance, we needed to find two stone reliefs on either side of the door representing two ancient Egyptian deities: Horus and Set. 0

Jack and I stood before each relief and pushed them simultaneously. As we pushed, both reliefs slowly moved with a deep rumbling sound. Suddenly, there was a loud crash as the stone door began to open inwardly, releasing an ancient aura and revealing a passage leading deeper inside. 0

We entered a vast underground tomb where a stone sarcophagus lay at its center. Above it floated a fragment radiating dazzling light—the Sun Fragment—shining like the brightest glow at dawn, emitting a mesmerizing golden light that seemed capable of piercing hearts and revealing deep-seated desires. 0

Just as we approached this supreme treasure with awe, a sudden clanging sound echoed through the air as a group of guards clad in brilliant golden armor surged forth from the shadows like phantoms. Armed with spears glinting coldly in their hands and eyes as icy as winter, they exuded an air of authority that had accumulated over ages. 0

"We are Time Guardians; who dares disturb this place?" The lead guard's voice was deep and powerful, resonating throughout the empty tomb while only tension and unease filled the air around me. 0

Combat was imminent as Jack and I stood back-to-back while Time Guardians surged toward us like a tide. 0

The battle was intense; the combat prowess of Time Guardians exceeded our expectations. Their spears twisted space itself with each swing, slowing our movements and making us feel as if we were bound by time itself. 0

I quickly devised a strategy, signaling Jack to use his exceptional fighting skills to draw their attention while I moved like a ghost along the edges of battle, searching for something that could turn the tide. Finally, on an ancient stone wall covered in Hieroglyphics, I found an inconspicuous mechanism. With a gentle press of my finger, it felt as if the entire tomb awakened; a low rumble shook every inch of space as brilliant light erupted around us—a dazzling energy shield formed instantly that isolated Time Guardians into another realm of time. This was an ancient Egyptian defense mechanism set up to protect the Sun Fragment. 0

Seizing this opportunity, I dashed toward the Sun Fragment; at that moment, time seemed to stand still—only my heartbeat resonated with that fragment's pulse. When my fingertips brushed against its warm and radiant glow, an unprecedented power surged through me; I felt as if I had become a traveler through time, establishing an eternal pact with this universe's oldest and purest force. 0

"Your power cannot withstand the torrent of time!" I raised the Sun Fragment high above my head, proclaiming our victory. That dazzling light illuminated not only the tomb but also lit our path toward the future. The Time Guardians looked on in awe before vanishing silently into history's dust just as they had arrived. Jack and I stood in that tomb panting heavily but filled with joy from our triumph. We had successfully obtained our first Time Fragment. 0

We carefully stored away the Sun Fragment and left the tomb. As we exited the ruins, the sun had risen high in the sky; sunlight bathed the earth below us and illuminated our way forward. 0
