Happy days always seem to pass by quickly. In the blink of an eye, Liu Qianqian has graduated. Originally, Fu Tianming wanted her to join his company so he could take care of her. However, Qianqian disagreed; she wanted to venture out on her own. Before their relationship was publicly acknowledged, she had indeed hoped to work at his company to be closer to him. But now that everyone knew about their relationship, her strong personality made her reluctant to let others think she was relying on his protection. So she chose a company with good conditions instead. This was also because the vice president of the company that hired her was a senior who had once looked out for her. They had collaborated before and appreciated each other's design philosophies and achievements.
One day, Fu Tianming had to call Liu Qianqian due to a major client and told her to take a taxi home by herself. When she returned home, she sensed something was off; Uncle Liu looked unusually tense and hurriedly walked away after greeting her. Not thinking much of it, she went upstairs to her room, which had become her "home office." At night, she would sleep in Fu Tianming's large bed; they had become one on the night of her graduation. The shyness and passion of this delicate woman brought Fu Tianming unprecedented happiness and joy. He often longed for her sweetness. If it weren't for the fear of tiring her out, he would want to hold her all the time. For her sake, Fu Tianming never went out when he returned home, even if it meant losing business. To him, nothing was more important than her; nothing made him feel more at ease than seeing her sweet smile and adorable expressions. Their beautiful relationship filled their home with sunshine, and they had already planned to marry soon.
Just as Liu Qianqian was about to take a shower, Uncle Liu came in. "Xiao Ning, I need to tell you something." Liu Qianqian had asked everyone to call her that from the very first time she arrived.
"What is it?"
"The woman downstairs is your boyfriend's ex-wife; don't pay any attention to what she says—"
"Uncle Liu, Uncle Liu—" Before Uncle Liu could finish speaking, a woman's voice came from outside. "Oh, so you're Fu Tianming's new love? I'm his wife." A woman stood at the door, no longer young but still charming, looking disdainfully at Liu Qianqian. One could imagine that this woman must have been incredibly captivating in her youth.
"You are his ex-wife!"
"Yes, so what? He will come back to me." Upon seeing this slender and quiet girl, hope filled her heart.
The wealthy man had gone bankrupt; the beautiful life she once had was gone. For someone who enjoyed luxury like her, returning to a rich ex-husband who once loved her deeply should not be difficult as long as the woman by his side wasn't particularly outstanding. There had been rumors that he hadn't approached any women for years because of her. However, recently she saw news in the papers about his upcoming marriage, which forced her to rush back immediately. Liu Qianqian didn't know what to say or how to respond; she simply asked Uncle Liu to take the woman to the living room. But the woman insisted it was her home and walked in uninvited.
Liu Qianqian felt extremely unsettled inside. She had asked Fu Tianming about his ex-wife before; he had been vague and evasive about discussing it further. She believed those matters were in the past and thus stopped probing. She firmly believed he loved her, but whether he still loved his ex-wife was uncertain. If he still loved her and if she wanted to return, where would that leave Liu Qianqian? Suddenly feeling scared, she stepped out of the room to see what this woman was doing and discovered that she was in a room that Liu Qianqian had never entered before.
