How did she get in? Why was she able to enter? What was inside? A series of questions sprang up. The door was open, and she tiptoed over, only to see the woman sitting on a small bed, crying. It turned out to be a nursery. There were many photos and items from their past inside. However, a layer of dust had settled, suggesting that no one had been there for some time. The woman suddenly looked up at her and said, "You see! He loves me. He still keeps our things; even the place for the keys hasn't changed. Hao will come back to me. Once he sees me, he will definitely stay by my side." She tilted her face provocatively, staring at her. 0

Liu Qianqian returned to her room without saying a word. She decided to wait for Fu Tianming to come back before discussing it; she didn't plan to guess on her own. But for some reason, time dragged on painfully slowly today. She wanted to go back to the bedroom to wait but found that the woman had already lain down on the bed. She wanted her to leave but couldn't bring herself to say it. After all, they were both unmarried, and in terms of status, they were equal. 0

Her inherent kindness made her choose to wait for his return. However, today Fu Tianming helplessly accompanied a client for dinner and didn't return until dawn, drunk. Although he was worried about Qianqian's anxiety, he felt trapped. Upon entering the bedroom and seeing someone lying on the bed, he assumed it was Qianqian and quietly took off his clothes. Not wanting to wake the sleeping figure, he soon fell into a deep sleep himself. Meanwhile, Liu Qianqian in another room had heard his return and knew he had entered the bedroom. She waited for him, pressing against the door and listening to the sounds from inside. But everything was so quiet. Why hadn't he come? Did he really not want her anymore once he saw her? No wonder he never took her to his events (she had forgotten that she had repeatedly said she didn't want to go), never said he loved her, never shared his thoughts or feelings with her, never mentioned his past. He cared for her and spoiled her but never let her share in his troubles; it was as if he didn't regard her as a lover—was this not love but merely pity for her? 0

The more she thought about it, the more extreme her thoughts became; every sign seemed to indicate that he did not love her—if he did love her, it certainly could not compare to his feelings for his Ex-Wife. He must have been waiting for his wife to return all these years. After so many years apart, when they finally met again today, he didn't even argue with his wife before sharing a bed with her—what did that make Liu Qianqian? 0

Perhaps the bitterness of her mother's love story had long made her skeptical about love; this awareness had previously been hidden away but now surfaced due to reality. The more she thought about it, the less trustworthy love seemed. Just like how deeply in love her parents were, yet her father still strayed—how could she expect a man to wholeheartedly love her? If he no longer loved her, what was she doing here? If she stayed here, how would he treat her tomorrow? The more she thought about it, the more she felt she should escape quickly. 0

Finally, after a night of waiting and worrying, at dawn she decided to leave. She took none of the things Fu Tianming had bought for her; she only packed what she had brought with her and left while others were still asleep. She didn't know where to go; she had no home, and most of her good friends were either married or had moved far away. Where could she go? In the end, feeling helpless, she decided to go to the company first. 0

When morning came and Fu Tianming opened his eyes, instead of seeing that little bird-like chatterbox, he was shocked to find his Ex-Wife sitting at the vanity table getting ready. He rushed out of Qianqian's room only to discover that all of Qianqian's belongings were gone. He immediately understood what had happened. 0

"Tell me why you're here! What did you say to Qianqian? Speak!" He shook his Ex-Wife frantically. Soon enough, he realized that his sensitive treasure had chosen to leave him. He immediately called her but found that her phone was off; when he called her company, they said she wasn't there. He knew he needed to find his precious one again but first needed to resolve matters at hand. 0

So he made his position clear with his Ex-Wife. Despite all her attempts—crying and begging him not to leave—he still kicked her out. He no longer hated her; although initially hurt by her departure which caused him great pain over losing a child, today he even felt grateful towards her. If she hadn't left him, he wouldn't have chosen Lina as a mistress and wouldn't have met Liu Qianqian. 0

Thus before sending her away completely, he gave her some money as a "thank you" for what she'd done and for any future expenses—but from then on their relationship would be severed completely. Seeing his determination, his Ex-Wife understood there was no turning back and left willingly. 0
