The sun set, and night fell.
I gazed out at the pitch-black night, lost in thought.
I remembered when I was young, watching The Lion King with Yi Jun.
When Mufasa died at Scar's hands, I cried deeply.
Yi Jun patted my head and gently said, "Lanlan, don't cry. Mufasa will be watching over the little lion king from the stars."
I wiped my tears and looked at the stars in the sky, asking Yi Jun, "Which one is Mufasa?"
Yi Jun pointed to the brightest star in the northern sky and said, "That one."
"What about that one?" I pointed to another star.
"That one is Lanlan."
"I don't want that one," I shook my head. "I want to be with Yi Jun."
"Silly," Yi Jun laughed. "We will never be apart."
I will never forget that day.
The afterglow of the sunset fell.
A young lion king stood on the vast grassland, gently stroking the little lion beside him.
“Lanlan, we will always be together.”
Yi Jun's brother Shi Chengyue barged in, his expression fierce: “Luo Lan, how did you promise me back then?”
He gripped my wrist tightly, his fingers digging into my flesh.
“Do you know that Ajun canceled his wedding with Jing Muhan for you?”
“Do you have any idea how much Ajun has to compensate?”
“Luo Lan, when will you put away your spoiled princess attitude and consider Yi Jun's feelings?”
He pulled me towards the door of the hospital room: “You need to come with me now and explain things clearly to those people!”
The office building was silent, the elevator stopped at the top floor.
Shi Chengyue dragged me into the ongoing press conference.
The flashbulbs blinded me, and I instinctively covered my face.
